The latest figures from the CSO prove that the Gathering 2013 is giving the Longford/Westmeath tourism sector a huge boost, according to Fine Gael TD, James Bannon.
“Our tourism sector is on course for a bumper year. These are the best results in five years, and in the last three years alone trips to Ireland have increased by almost half a million” says Mr Bannon.
