Edgeworthstown station in need of expansion - Ross

The carpark at Edgeworthstown station is in need of expansion, according to Cllr Paul Ross, who has called on Longford County Council to write a letter to Irish Rail requesting that an extension be made.

“That carpark is full to capacity every day and it's too small to accommodate all the cars, so there's a run over into the town, especially the church carpark and nursing home,” said Cllr Ross.
