Rosaleen Cullen (née Lynch), Brocklagh and late of Lettergeeragh, Drumlish, Longford

The death occurred peacefully in the loving care of Shannon Lodge Nursing Home, Roosky, Co Roscommon, on Saturday, November 1 of Rosaleen Cullen (née Lynch), Brocklagh and late of Lettergeeragh, Drumlish, Longford. 

Predeceased by her husband Danny, parents Bernard and Bridget Lynch. Deeply regretted by her cousins, relatives, neighbours and friends. May Rosaleen Rest in Peace. 

Rosaleen will arrive to St Mary's Church, Drumlish this Sunday evening, November 2 for prayers at 6pm. Funeral Mass on Monday, November 3 at 11am followed by burial in Kilmahon Cemetery. Funeral Mass will be streamed live HERE. House private please.

James Hussey, Athlone Road, Longford Town, Longford

The death occurred peacefully after a long illness on Friday, October 31 of James Hussey, Athlone Road, Longford Town, Longford. Predeceased by his parents James and Pauline.

James will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his family, his heartbroken wife Mary, daughter Tina, grandson Nathan and his partner Natalia, sisters Phyllis Watson, Maureen, Pauline Wenman, Geraldine Toher, Elizabeth Connell and Kathleen, brothers John (Korea), Joseph, Kevin and Eugene, nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends. May he rest in peace.

Reposing at Glennon’s Funeral Home, Ballinalee Road (N39 EC81) on Tuesday, November 4 from 6pm concluding with prayers at 8pm. Mass of the Resurrection on Wednesday, November 5 at 11am in St Mel's Cathedral, interment afterwards in Ballymacormack cemetery. Eithne Murtagh (née McWeeney), Clondra, Longford

The death occurred peacefully, in the loving care of the nurses and staff of St Joseph’s Care Centre, surrounded by her family, on Friday, October 31 of Eithne Murtagh (née McWeeney), Clondra, Longford. Predeceased by her beloved husband Tom, sister Eileen and by her brothers Tommy, Jack and Kevin.

Eithne will be sadly missed and remembered with love by her family, daughter Una Crowley (Caragh, Co.Kildare), sons Kevin (London) and Paul (San Francisco) , son-in-law Manus, grandchildren Aiden, Brendan, Dara, Conor, Ronan and Grace, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. May she rest in peace.

The death occurred peacefully surrounded by his family in the care of the doctors, nurses and staff of the Midlands Regional Hospital Mullingar on Thursday, October 30, 2025 of Bernard (Berney) Jordan, Terlicken, Ballymahon, Longford. 

Predeceased by his parents James & Catherine Jordan, sisters Eileen, Mary and Margaret, his son-in-law Ernie Ellis, daughter-in-law Mary Jordan and grandson Patrick. Deeply regretted by his loving wife Maureen, son James, daughter Mary, grandchildren Caroline, Bernard, David, Cathy, Helen, Gemma, Adam and their partners, great grandchildren Ava, James, Ellie, Killian, Sophie, Evan, Theo, Oliver, Daniel, Daisy, Hallie and Elijah, sisters Kathleen (Mahon) and Kitty (Cassells), brother Andy and brother-in-law Des, nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and neighbours. May he Rest in Peace.

Reposing at his son’s Jimmy’s residence in Barry for friends, family and neighbours from 6.30pm to 9pm this Friday, October 31. Reposing in St Matthew's Church, Ballymahon on Saturday, November 1 from 4 pm to 6pm followed by prayers. Funeral Mass on Sunday, November 2 at 1pm followed by cremation in Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan.

Maureen Drumm, Ardnacassa, Longford Town, Longford

The death occurred peacefully, in the loving care of the nurses and staff of Laurel Lodge Nursing Home on Thursday, October 30, 2025 of Maureen Drumm, Ardnacassa, Longford Town, Longford. 

Predeceased by her parents Michael and Betty. Maureen will be sadly missed and remembered with love by her family, godson Donal and his wife Amanda, cousins, extended family, relatives, neighbours and many great friends. May she rest in peace.

Bernadette Dromey (née O'Kelly), Blanchardstown, Dublin / Carrigallen, Leitrim

The death occurred peacefully, surrounded by her loving family at Connolly Hospital, Blanchardstown on Thursday, October 30, 2025 of Bernadette Dromey (née O'Kelly), Blanchardstown, Dublin 15 and formerly of Drumloona, Carrigallen, Co Leitrim. 

Beloved wife of the late Gerry and devoted mother of Conor, Brian and Linda. She will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by her loving sons, daughter, daughters-in-law Tara and Lyn, son-in-law Philip, cherished grandchildren Helen, Gerard, Mark, Paul, David, Laura, Seán, Conor, Jayce and Leah, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and a wide circle of friends.

Kathleen Dalton (née Rushe), Elphin Street, Strokestown, Roscommon

The death occurred, very peacefully, surrounded by her devoted daughters and sons and family, at her residence on Saturday, November 1, 2025 of Kathleen Dalton (née Rushe), Elphin Street, Strokestown, Roscommon and formerly of Cloonfree, Strokestown, retired SRN/SMN Rotunda Hospital Dublin. Dearly loved wife of the late Michael (Mick – Nov 2009).

Loving, devoted and cherished Mammy to Connie, Kieran, Donal, Audrey, Peter, Rosario and Cormac, devoted Nana to Lukas, Molly, Bobby, Ewan, Cait, Blathnaid, Tristan, William, Ella-Kate, Katelyn, Fianna and Niamh and great grandmother to Aubrey and Silas. Kathleen will be forever loved and always remembered by her family, much loved grandchildren, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, nephews, nieces, brother-in-law Peader, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Kathleen is predeceased by her husband Mick, her parents Patrick and Ellen Rushe, Cloonfree, her brothers and sisters P.J. Rushe, Eithne Rushe, Rita Rushe (nee Dolan) & Maureen Rushe (nee Flannagan). “Those we love and lose are always connected by heart strings into infinity” Rest peacefully Mammy.

Reposing at her Home (F42HR92) on Sunday evening, November 2, from 3pm - 6pm. Requiem Mass on Monday, November 3rd, at 11am at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Strokestown, Co Roscommon. Kathleen will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband Mick in Kilcooley Cemetery, Roscommon, following the Funeral Mass. The Dalton would like to thank the Roscommon palliative Care Team and the carers who have been so supportive over the past number of days and made Mammy’s final hours comfortable. Please note: Those attending the Reposing are asked to take care as the family home is on a dangerous bend as you leave Strokestown heading for Elphin (R368).

Joe English, Bratty Road, Castlepollard, Westmeath

The death occurred peacefully in the loving care of his devoted family and the staff at the Midland Regional Hospital, Mullingar on Friday, October 31, 2025 of Joe English, Bratty Road, Castlepollard, Co Westmeath. Predeceased by his beloved daughter Martina Griffin, parents, brothers, sisters and all deceased members of the English and Kenny families.

Joe will be immensely missed by his loving wife Eve, his sons Joe (Carmel), John (Dympna) and Henry, his daughters Evelyn Kinney (Paul) and Noelle Fagan (Peter), his son-in-law Brendan, his sixteen grandchildren Ciara, Brendan, Sarah, David, Jack, Jody, Emma, Lauren, Paul, Eoin, Aishling, Kevin, Ciaran, Peter, Éadaoin, Dara and two great grandchildren Lily and Bobby, his sister-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, and his many friends and neighbours. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam dilís.

Removal to St Michael’s Church, Castlepollard on Monday morning, November 3 arriving for 11.30am Funeral Mass, followed by burial in St Michael's Cemetery, Castlepollard. Alice Dunne (née Callaghan), Clonageeragh, Castlepollard, Westmeath

The death occurred peacefully, after a long illness bravely born, in the excellent care of the staff and nurses at St Camillus Nursing Centre, Killucan on Thursday, October 30, 2025 of Alice Dunne (née Callaghan), Clonageeragh, Castlepollard, Westmeath and formerly of Naas, Co Kildare. 

Predeceased by her beloved husband Kevin and her brother-in-law Fergus. Alice will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by her relatives, neighbours, friends and all that knew her. May her gentle soul rest in peace.
