The death occurred suddenly, at his home on Monday, October 20, 2025 of Liam Victory, Ballinruddy, Ardagh, Co Longford.
Predeceased by his brothers P.J. and Michael. Sadly missed by his loving wife Breda, his daughter Michelle, his sons Dean and Paul, his sisters Margaret Langford, Loretto Harris, Bridie Farrelly (Hemelhempstead) and Rosaleen Sharkey (Hungerford, Berkshire), his brothers Kevin and Tom, grandchildren Dayna, Dylan, Karen, Ben, Leia, Ruby, Max and Abbie, great-grandchildren Erin and Liam, daughters-in-law Teresa and Bernardine Bracken, son-in-law Paul Linnane, sisters-in-law Sandra, Helen, Ann and Cely, brothers-in-law Tom Sharkey and Jimmy Farrelly, nieces and nephews, extended family, neighbours, relatives, his work colleagues in Fallon Hardware and a wide circle of close friends. Reposing in Laurel Lodge Nursing Home Chapel (N39 XE92), Ballinalee Road, Longford on Thursday, October 23 from 4pm with prayers at 7pm. Removal from his home on Friday, October 24 to St Brigid's Church, Ardagh, arriving for Funeral Mass at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only please. The death occurred peacefully at home with his beloved wife by his side on Monday, October 20, 2025 of Henry Ellis, Cloonellan, Drumlish, Longford.
Pre-deceased by his parents David and Annie , brothers David , John and Joe and recently by his sister Mary. The death occurred peacefully in Princess Louise of Kensington Nursing Home, London on Wednesday, October 8, 2025 of Maura Wallace (nee Mannix), London, late of Ballinalee Co Longford and Dingle Co Kerry.
Reunited with her daughter Thérèse, granddaughter Jennifer, husband John and brother Séamus. Maura passed away Maura is dearly missed by her son John, daughter in law Barbara, sisters Nora Columb and Joan Ginty, sister in law Helen Mannix, good friend Karen Clough and of course the rest of the wider family.
