The death occurred suddenly, at his home on Monday, October 20, 2025 of Liam Victory, Ballinruddy, Ardagh, Co Longford. 

Predeceased by his brothers P.J. and Michael. Sadly missed by his loving wife Breda, his daughter Michelle, his sons Dean and Paul, his sisters Margaret Langford, Loretto Harris, Bridie Farrelly (Hemelhempstead) and Rosaleen Sharkey (Hungerford, Berkshire), his brothers Kevin and Tom, grandchildren Dayna, Dylan, Karen, Ben, Leia, Ruby, Max and Abbie, great-grandchildren Erin and Liam, daughters-in-law Teresa and Bernardine Bracken, son-in-law Paul Linnane, sisters-in-law Sandra, Helen, Ann and Cely, brothers-in-law Tom Sharkey and Jimmy Farrelly, nieces and nephews, extended family, neighbours, relatives, his work colleagues in Fallon Hardware and a wide circle of close friends. Rest in peace.

Reposing in Laurel Lodge Nursing Home Chapel (N39 XE92), Ballinalee Road, Longford on Thursday, October 23 from 4pm with prayers at 7pm. Removal from his home on Friday, October 24 to St Brigid's Church, Ardagh, arriving for Funeral Mass at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only please. Henry Ellis, Cloonellan, Drumlish, Longford

The death occurred peacefully at home with his beloved wife by his side on Monday, October 20, 2025 of Henry Ellis, Cloonellan, Drumlish, Longford. 

Pre-deceased by his parents David and Annie , brothers David , John and Joe and recently by his sister Mary. Henry will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his family , his beloved wife Mary Rose, daughters Andre, Carmel, Claire, Laura and Elaine, sister Ann(Nan), brother Vincent, sons-in-law Trevor, Eamon, Thomas, Sean and Dylan, grandchildren Kian, Steven, Joshua, Cara, Emma, Owen, Seán and Rosie, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

May he rest in peace. Reposing at Glennon’s Funeral Home, Ballinalee Road (N39 EC81) on Thursday, October 23 from 6pm concluding with prayers at 8pm. Mass of the Resurrection on Friday, October 24 in St Mary’s Church, Newtownforbes at 12 noon, interment afterwards in Newtownforbes Cemetery. Mary O'Reilly (née Early) Rush, Dublin / Castlerea, Roscommon / Ballinalee, Longford

The death occurred suddenly at her residence in Rush, Co Dublin on Saturday, October 18, 2025 of Mary O’Reilly (nee Early) Rush, Dublin and formerly of Castlerea, Co Roscommon.

Predeceased by her loving husband Thomas O' Reilly, loving mother to Paul and John, adored by her grandchildren, brothers and sisters, relatives and friends and dedicated nurse in Castlerea and Manchester.

Reposing at Kellys Funeral Home, Unit 2A, Royal Canal Business Park Athlone Road, Longford N39 K381 from 6pm to 8pm on Tuesday, October 21. Funeral mass in St James Church, Clonbroney, Ballinalee, Co Longford at 12 noon on Wednesday, October 22 with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Frances Cassells, Walderstown, Athlone, Westmeath / Glasson, Westmeath

The recent death has occurred peacefully surrounded by her loving family in the tender care of the nurses and staff of the Galway Clinic on Monday, October 20, 2025 of Frances Cassells, Tones Road, Walderstown, Athlone, Co. Westmeath and formerly of Rath, Glasson, Co. Westmeath

Predeceased by her parents Frank and Esther. Sadly missed by her heartbroken and loving partner Aidan (Browne), sisters Anne (Murphy), Marie (Carty | New York) and Irene (Donnelly), brother Declan, nieces Karen, Lucy, Katelyn, Gráinne, Michelle and Caroline, nephews Daniel, Ciarán and John, grand-nephew Jack, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, cousins, relatives, neighbours, and many friends. Requiem Mass in Church of the Immaculate Conception, Drumraney, (N37 DW26) at 12 noon on Friday, October 24 followed by cremation in Shannon Crematorium. Mary Bohin (née Dennigan), Lanesboro, Longford

The death occurred peacefully in France on Thursday, October 16, 2025 of Mary Bohin (née Dennigan), formerly of Mahoraveen, Lanesboro, Co Longford. 

Predeceased by her husband Jean-Claude, her parents James and Brigid Dennigan, and her brother John.

Sadly missed by her sons, Marc and Kevin, daughters in law and grandchildren. Her sister, Chris Moran, Colehill, brothers Paddy, Caldramore, Tom, Newtowncashel, Séamus, Offaly, Mike and Willie, Mahora, and their partners. Her nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. Burial taking place in France on Tuesday, October 21. May Mary rest in peace.

Maura Wallace (née Mannix), Ballinalee, Co Longford

The death occurred peacefully in Princess Louise of Kensington Nursing Home, London on Wednesday, October 8, 2025 of Maura Wallace (nee Mannix), London, late of Ballinalee Co Longford and Dingle Co Kerry.

Reunited with her daughter Thérèse, granddaughter Jennifer, husband John and brother Séamus. Maura passed away Maura is dearly missed by her son John, daughter in law Barbara, sisters Nora Columb and Joan Ginty, sister in law Helen Mannix, good friend Karen Clough and of course the rest of the wider family.

The death occurred peacefully at Newbridge Nursing Home, Mullingar on Sunday, October 12, 2025 of Eileen Josephine Fitzpatrick (née Kane), St Helen’s Road, Booterstown, Dublin & London and formerly Fyhora, Moyne, Co Longford.  

Loving wife of the late Kevin, sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends. Rest in peace. 

Eileen will be reposing at McCrea’s Funeral Home, Carnew, Co Wicklow (Y14EK24) from 5pm to 7pm on Tuesday, October 28. Removal to St Brigid’s Church, Tomacork on Wednesday, October 29 arriving for 2.30pm Funeral Mass followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery. Sr Winifred Donlon, Manchester, UK & Moydow, Longford

The death occurred peacefully in the loving care of the sisters and staff of St Euphrasia's Convent, Chain road, Manchester on Tuesday, September 9, 2025 of Sr Winifred Donlon, Manchester, UK and Moydow, Co Longford. 

Sr Winifred was pre-deceased by her parents Patrick and Lena Donlon and siblings; Jack, Betty, Tom, Paddy, Mel, Fr James OFM, Charlie and Teresa, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. Much loved and deeply regretted by her Good Shepherd sisters, her brother Tony (Oregon USA), nieces and nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews and extended family. May she rest in peace.

Sr Winifred's Funeral Mass will take place privately in the Church of the Good Shepherd, Chain Road, Manchester on Wednesday, October 22 at 10.15am, followed by private cremation.
