The death occurred peacefully on Sunday, September 7, 2025 of Martha Boulos (nee Meenaghan), Grianard, Longford town, Co Longford.  

Pre-deceased by her parents Marty and Bridget and by her beloved daughter Eireni. Martha will be sadly missed and remembered with love by her family, son Alex and his father Petros, daughter-in-law Michelle, grandchildren Sloane and Avery, sisters Veronica (Naughton) and Joan (O’Donohoe), brothers Gerry and Martin, sisters-in-law Eileen and Fidelma, brothers-in-law Tommy and P.J., nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Nancy (Ann) Rhatigan (née Farrell), Mahoraveen, Lanesboro, Co Longford

The death occurred peacefully, in her 91st year, in the wonderful care of the staff at Innis Ree Nursing Home, Ballyleague on Sunday, September 7, 2025 of Nancy (Ann) Rhatigan (née Farrell), Mahoraveen, Lanesboro, Co Longford.Predeceased by her beloved husband Christy, her parents Michael and Mary, her sister Marie, brother Micky, and her sister-in-law Peg. Sadly missed by her loving niece and nephew Marie and Michael Farrell, grand nephews Michael Jr and Ethan Sonny, niece-in-law Aoife. Christy's nephews and nieces, relatives, good friends and neighbours. May Nancy Rest in Peace.

Reposing at the home of her niece, Marie (Eircode N39D527) on Monday, September 8 from 5pm concluding with prayers at 8pm. Nancy's funeral cortege will arrive at St Mary's Church, Lanesboro on Tuesday, September 9 (via Mahoraveen), for Mass of the Resurrection at 12 midday. Interment afterwards in Clonbonny cemetery.

Margaret Renwick, Newtownforbes, Longford

The death occurred peacefully following a very short illness, in the amazing care of the staff at Our Lady’s Hospice, Harold’s Cross, surrounded by her family on Friday, September 5, 2025 of Margaret Renwick, late of Newtownforbes, Co. Longford. 

Pre-deceased by her parents Kay and Tom, her sister Nora and her brother Greg. Beloved mother of Graham, Linda and Sarah. She will be very sadly missed by her children and also by her son-in-law Paul, daughter-in-law Marina, grandchildren Alisha, Milly, Sam, Erika, Amber, Faolan, Fiadh, her great-grandson A.J., her brothers Martin, Gerard and Thomas, sister Mary, her extended family, friends and neighbours. May she rest in peace.

Reposing at Fanagans Funeral Home, Lower Kimmage Road (D6W N279) on Thursday, September 11 from 1pm until 2pm, followed by removal to the Victorian Chapel, Mount Jerome Crematorium (D6W HY98), the funeral cortege will arrive for a Humanist Service at 2.30pm in celebration of Margaret's life. John Farrell, Templeogue, Dublin / Drumlish, Co Longford

The death occurred peacefully surrounded by his loving family at Ryevale Nursing Home, Leixlip in the excellent care of the staff in the Liffey and Moy Units on  Friday, September 5, 2025 of John Farrell, Templeogue, Dublin and formerly Derawley, Drumlish, Co Longford. 

Predeceased by his parents James and Beesie (Quinn) Farrell, brother Denis and sister Kathleen (Milton), sisters-in-law Eileen and Josephine, brother-in-law Joe Milton and son-in-law Paddy Maguire. John will be sadly missed by his loving wife and best friend Marion, his children Orla (Paddy RIP), Brian (Siobhan), Declan (Nadia) and Nuala (Seán), his adored grandchildren Aaron, Thanh, Seamus, Oisín and Saoirse, his brothers Jimmy and Martin, nieces and nephews and extended family, wonderful neighbours and many friends. John will repose at Massey Bros. Templeogue, Templeogue Village, D6W AC82 on Tuesday, September 9 from 5pm to 7pm. Funeral Mass on Wednesday, September 10 at 10am in the Church of St. Jude the Apostle, Templeogue, D6W YH51 followed thereafter by burial in Newlands Cross Cemetery, D24 K1CY. The death occurred suddenly, but peacefully, in the care of the staff of the Midland Regional Hospital, Mullingar, surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, September 7, 2025 of Paul Hardman, Milltown, Castlepollard, Co. Westmeath.

Predeceased by his father John and infant brother Shaun. Much loved husband of Sinead (née Gallagher); adored father of Amy and Jade, treasured son of Margaret, cherished brother of Shinead (Sheridan), Claire (Reynolds) and Johnny; treasured son-in-law of Betty and the late Brian. Deeply mourned by his uncles, aunts; brothers-in-law Declan, Dougie, Paul, Declan, Seamus and David; sisters-in-law Fiona, Aileen and Sharon; nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends. The death occurred peacefully in the care of all the staff at St Patrick’s Hospital, Carrick-on-Shannon on Sunday, September 7, 2025 of Heidi Schulz Cornagon, Keshcarrigan, Co Leitrim.

Predeceased by her beloved husband Arno. She will be sadly missed by her son Bernd, her extended family, close friends, neighbours and all who knew her.

On behalf of the entire Tannian and Czislowski family, we are bereft to announce the death of Seamus/James/Jimmy Tannian, Teffia Park, Longford and Queensland, Australia (October 5, 1944 - August 30, 2025), the day we thought and hoped would never come. Our family in Australia, Ireland, England, Spain, USA and the local Sunshine Coast, Queensland community has lost a bright light, radiant servant, leader, mentor, musician and friend.

The death occurred peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, in Javea, Spain on Tuesday, July 1, 2025 of Eileen Sheppard (nee Morgan) Bawnboy, Cavan and Javea, Spain and formerly of Ealing, London.

Predeceased by her beloved husband Keith, her parents John and Eileen, and her brothers James, Richard, and Frank.
