The death occurred peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family on Monday, August 25, 2025 of Bridie Duffy (nee Mulligan) Legga, Moyne, Co Longford.
She is predeceased by her beloved husband Paddy, parents Annie and John Joe Mulligan, brothers and sisters. Bridie will be sadly missed and remembered with love by her loving family, children Marie (Smith), Collette (Hackett), Sean and Pauric, sons-in-law James and Eddie, daughters-in-law Michelle and Carmel, her fourteen adored grandchildren Fiona, Karen, Katie, Damian, Edward, Stephen, Rachel, Shauna, Martha, Grace, Rebecca, Clodagh, Leah and Kara, her cherished twelve great-grandchildren Kira, Lauren, John, Olivia, Emma, Raighne, Jamie, Teddy, Maddie, Robyn, Calvin and Michael, two treasured great-great-grandchildren, Isla and Skylar, nephews, nieces, relatives, many good friends and neighbours. Reposing at Kelly’s Funeral Home, Athlone Road, Longford (Eircode N39 K381) on Tuesday, August 26 from 5pm concluding with prayers at 8pm, (The family will take a 15-minute break at 6:30). Funeral Mass on Wednesday, August 27 in St. Mary’s Church, Legga arriving at 12 noon, followed by burial in Tubberpatrick Cemetery.

The death occurred on Sunday, August 24, 2025 of Fr Patrick (Paddy) Hagan SPS, St Patrick’s Missionary Society, Kiltegan, Co Wicklow and formerly of Rhyne, Killoe, Co. Longford, the dioceses of Calabar, Nigeria, Chikwawa and Lilongwe, Malawi.
Predeceased by his parents Patrick and Mary Kate, sisters Mary Dunleavy, Kathleen Hagan, Nellie Morrissey, Margaret Fortune, and brothers Peter and Johnny. Sadly missed by his brother-in-law John Morrissey, by his nieces and nephews and their families, his relatives and friends, and his Society family in Kiltegan.

The death occurred unexpectedly in the care of the staff of Mullingar Regional Hospital, surrounded by her heartbroken family on Saturday, August 23, 2025 of Bridie (Bridget) Kearney (née Reynolds), 72 McEoin Park, Longford and formerly of Bornacoola, Co Leitrim.
Predeceased by her beloved husband Joe, brothers Luke, Michael, Seamus, Packie and John-Tom, sister Mary. Bridie will be sadly missed by her loving family, daughters Joanne Fallon (Dublin) and Breda Scully (Longford), son Michael, sons-in-law Michael & Padraic, her adored grandchildren Rebecca, Rachael, Adrianna, Grace, Lucy, Michaela and Chloe, brother Ned (Westmeath), sisters Julia Reynolds (Fenagh) and Margaret Heneghan (England), nieces and nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends. The death occurred suddenly while enjoying a cycling holiday in Serbia with his beloved wife Bernie on Saturday, August 16, 2025 of James (Jim) Holmes, Rathfarnham, Dublin / Longford.
Predeceased by his father Peter, his mother Eileen and his brother Tom. Deeply regretted by his dear wife and best friend Bernie, beloved sons David and Bernard, sister Helen, nieces and nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law and his many friends and colleagues.
Reposing in Fanagan's Funeral Home, Dundrum, D14 F3X2 on Monday evening, August 25 from 5pm to 7pm. Removal on Tuesday morning August 26 to the Church of the Divine Word, Marlay Grange arriving for Funeral Mass at 11.30am followed by burial in Mount Venus Cemetery.

The death occurred peacefully in the wonderful care of staff at Clondalkin Lodge Nursing Home surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, August 23, 2025 of Mary Brown (née Berrigan) late of Brandon Road, Drimnagh, Dublin and formerly of Strokestown, Co Roscommon.
Devoted wife of the late Billy and much-loved mother of Tom, Liam, David, Peter and Monica. Mary will be very sadly missed by her sons, daughter, son-in-law Alan, daughters-in-law Caroline, Lillian and Pauline, her 12 loving grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren, brother Tom, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. The death occurred peacefully after an illness borne with dignity and courage on Wednesday, July 23, 2025 of Niall Brady, Harlaxton & Denton, Lincolnshire, England and Killadream, Loughduff, Co Cavan. Recently predeceased by his father Charlie.
Deeply regretted and dearly missed by his beloved children, Ciarán, Ailish and Danny, their mother Lisa, and Ciarán’s fiancée Jo, his mother Detta, his siblings Ann Marie (TP), Fionnuala (Francie), Cathal (Emer), Colm (Róisín) and Shane (Vanda), his nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives, his former colleagues in the Kelly Group and his many friends. A private family ceremony prior to cremation will take place in Grantham on Monday, August 18, followed by a wake in the Welby Arms, Denton, Grantham, England NG32 1LG at 12:30pm, where all can gather to offer support, remember and celebrate Niall’s life.
Niall’s ashes will be brought to Ireland the following week and will rest at his home in Killadream, Loughduff, Co Cavan (H12C9X7), where all are welcome to meet his family, pay their respects and remember Niall on Friday, August 29 from 4pm to 8pm. Niall’s funeral Mass will take place on Saturday, August 30 at 12 noon in St Joseph’s Church, Loughduff (H12F968) followed by interment of his ashes in the local cemetery. The death occurred peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, in Javea, Spain on Tuesday, July 1, 2025 of Eileen Sheppard (nee Morgan) Bawnboy, Cavan and Javea, Spain and formerly of Ealing, London.
Predeceased by her beloved husband Keith, her parents John and Eileen, and her brothers James, Richard, and Frank.
