The death occurred peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, August 6, 2025 of Lawrence (Larry) Donlon, Killowen, Rhode, Offaly and late of Thureen, Lanesboro, Co Longford. Late of ESB. Predeceased by his daughter Jacqueline, parents Katie and Thomas, brother and sisters Olive, Tommy and Margaret. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his family wife Anne, children Mark, Owen, Sandra, Dean, Alan and Lorna, sons-in-law Aidan and Ciarán, daughters-in-law Andrea, Rachel and Bruna, grandchildren, brothers and sisters, Mary, P.J., Mattie, Geraldine and Pauline, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. May Larry Rest In Peace.

Larry will repose at Larkin's Funeral Home Edenderry (Eircode R45 VK24) on Friday, August 8 from 5pm - 8pm with Rosary at 8pm. Thomas Patrick (Pakie Tom) McNamara, Ballykiltyfea, Cloone, Co Leitrim

The death occurred peacefully on Friday, August 8, 2025 of Thomas Patrick McNamara (Pakie Tom), Ballykiltyfea, Cloone, Co. Leitrim.

Predeceased by his loving wife Mary, his granddaughter Megan, his parents and his brother Eugene. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his daughter Diane and her partner John, son Eugene, daughter-in-law Veronica, sister Mary, his beloved grandchildren; Ellen Rose, Eoghan, Kate, Emma and Abby, niece, nephew, cousins, neighbours and friends. Pakie Tom’s remains will lie in repose in St Mary’s Church, Cloone (N41 V009) on Sunday, August 10 from 6pm concluding with prayers at 8pm. Pakie Tom’s Funeral Mass will take place on Monday, August, 11 at 12 noon in St Mary's Church, Cloone followed by burial in the local cemetery.

Brendan Reilly, Beaghmore, Carrigallen, Leitrim

The death occurred peacefully at his home on Friday, August 8, 2025 of Brendan Reilly, Beaghmore, Carrigallen, Leitrim. Beloved husband of the late Marian.

Brendy will be sadly missed by his children Derek, Raymond, Gary and Louise, daughters-in-law Aisling, Sarah, Elaine and son-in-law Norm. Loving and adored Grandfather to Aaron, Osin, Caragh, Rian, Aoife & Sealin. Brendy will be deeply missed by his sister Bridie and brother Philip and by his many friends from near and far, past and present. Predeceased by his brothers Sean and Michael.

The death occurred peacefully, following a short battle bravely borne with great courage, surrounded by her loving family and in the excellent care of the staff of Sligo University Hospital on Wednesday, August 6, 2025 of Linda Geoghegan Logan, Main Street Mohill, Co Leitrim and formerly of Aughacashel, Co Leitrim. 

Predeceased by her loving Parents Pearse, Margaret and her infant sister Sinead. Adored wife of Hugh, beloved mother of Séadhna, Aisling and Pearse, and son-in-law Paul, sadly missed by her sister Orla, brother Micheál, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, three cherished granddaughters Éala, Ríona and Ceoladh, much loved cousins, neighbours and friends. Reposing at her home on Main Street, Mohill (Eircode N41 C6K7) on Saturday, August 9 from 4pm concluding with prayers at 8pm. The death occurred peacefully in Mullingar Regional Hospital surrounded by her loving family and dear friends on Friday, August 8, 2025 of Geraldine Murphy, Ballysallagh, Ballynacargy, Westmeath. 

Predeceased by her parents, Jim and Josie Murphy. Deeply regretted by her partner Seamus, son Mark, Marks partner Stacey, adored grandsons Mason and Theo,sisters Eileen Mulligan, Mag Murtagh, Jo Price, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, dear friends and neighbours. Reposing in her home at Ballysallagh (N91v3w2) from 4-7pm on Sunday evening August 10. Funeral Mass on Monday, August 11 at 11am in the Church of the Nativity Ballynacargy, followed by burial in Milltown cemetery (N91 YR78). House strictly private Monday morning please.

Francis (Frank) Devine, Moortown, Castlepollard, Co Westmeath

The death occurred peacefully, at St James's Hospital, Dublin, in the loving care of the staff and his family on Monday, August 4, 2025 of Francis (Frank) Devine, Moortown, Castlepollard, Co Westmeath.

 Predeceased by his mother Peggy. Sadly missed by his loving father Pat, brother Paddy (Cavan), sister Helen, sister-in-law Aiveen, brother-in-law Mike, nieces and nephews Grace, Sarah, Seán, Patrick, Billy, Danny and Francis, cousins, relatives, neighbours and friends. May Frank Rest In Peace.

Reposing at Shaw's Funeral Home, Bishopsgate Street, Mullingar (N91 RY65) on Thursday, August 7 from 4pm until 7pm, arriving at St Michael's Church, Castlepollard on Saturday, August 9 for 12 noon Funeral Mass. Burial afterwards in St Michael's Cemetery, Castlepollard.

Niall Brady, Killadream, Loughduff, Cavan

The death occurred peacefully after an illness borne with dignity and courage on Wednesday, July 23, 2025 of Niall Brady, Harlaxton & Denton, Lincolnshire, England and Killadream, Loughduff, Co Cavan. Recently predeceased by his father Charlie.

Deeply regretted and dearly missed by his beloved children, Ciarán, Ailish and Danny, their mother Lisa, and Ciarán’s fiancée Jo, his mother Detta, his siblings Ann Marie (TP), Fionnuala (Francie), Cathal (Emer), Colm (Róisín) and Shane (Vanda), his nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives, his former colleagues in the Kelly Group and his many friends. Suaimhneas síoraí dá anam uasal.

A private family ceremony prior to cremation will take place in Grantham on Monday, August 18, followed by a wake in the Welby Arms, Denton, Grantham, England NG32 1LG at 12:30pm, where all can gather to offer support, remember and celebrate Niall’s life.

Niall’s ashes will be brought to Ireland the following week and will rest at his home in Killadream, Loughduff, Co Cavan (H12C9X7), where all are welcome to meet his family, pay their respects and remember Niall on Friday, August 29 from 4pm to 8pm. Niall’s funeral Mass will take place on Saturday, August 30 at 12 noon in St Joseph’s Church, Loughduff (H12F968) followed by interment of his ashes in the local cemetery. Eileen Sheppard (née Morgan), Bawnboy, Cavan

The death occurred peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, in Javea, Spain on Tuesday, July 1, 2025 of Eileen Sheppard (nee Morgan) Bawnboy, Cavan and Javea, Spain and formerly of Ealing, London.

Predeceased by her beloved husband Keith, her parents John and Eileen, and her brothers James, Richard, and Frank. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by her brother Carl Morgan (Kells), her sister Anne McManus (Newtownforbes), the extended Sheppard family, her brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, friends, and neighbours.
