The death occurred peacefully surrounded by her loving family in her 100th year on Wednesday, June 11, 2025 of Anna Whelan (née Quinn) Lettergullion, Ballinamuck, Co Longford. Predeceased by her husband Pat, son Sean, grand daughter Moyra (London), brothers Pat and Michael and sister Bridie (Connolly).

Deeply regretted by her loving family daughters Moira (Ross), Jacinta (Keogh), sons Michael, Patsy, Felix, Gerry and Kieran, daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. May Anna Rest in Peace.

Reposing at her residence in Lettergullion, Ballinamuck (N39 A9D5) on Friday, June 13 from 3pm concluding with prayers at 8pm. Anna will arrive to St Patrick's Church, Ballinamuck on Saturday, June 14 for funeral mass at 12 noon followed by interment in Ballinamuck new cemetery. Funeral mass can be streamed live, link will be posted prior to funeral mass. Family flowers only please.

Attracta Murray (née Delamere), Corrydonlon, Rathowen, Westmeath / Longford

The death occurred peacefully in the loving care of the staff at Regional Hospital Mullingar and in the presence of her loving family on Thursday, June 12, 2025 of Attracta Murray (nee Delamere) Corrydonlon, Rathowen, Westmeath/ Longford. 

Predeceased by her parents William and Mary and grandson John. Sadly missed by her loving family husband Pat, daughter Ann (Scally), sons Tom, Brendan, Mel and Noel, grandchildren Nathan, Aaron, Evan, Sean, Claire, Eoin, Molly and Ethan, sister Lucy, son-in-law Christy, daughters-in-law Lydia, Teresa and Cecelia, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends. Reposing at her home (N91w6x4) on Sunday, June 15 from 3pm until 6pm. Funeral Mass on Monday, June 16 in St Mary's Church, Rathowen at 1pm. Burial afterwards in Lackan Cemetery.

Kathleen Henry (née Lynch), Church Street, Charlestown, Mayo / Moatefarrell, Longford

The recent death has occurred suddenly but peacefully in the care of Mayo University Hospital on Thursday, June 12, 2025 of Kathleen Henry (Catherine) (nee Lynch), Church Street, Charlestown and formerly of Moatefarrell, Co Longford.

Sadly missed by her loving husband Jarlath, sisters Mary (Gaynor) and Helen, brothers Pat, Philip, Michael and Seamus, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews. Predeceased by her parents Denis and Brigid and brothers Denis and Con. May she Rest in Peace.

Kathleen will repose in the Horkan funeral home, Charlestown (F12D393) on Saturday, June 14 from 3.30pm to 6.30pm with removal to St James's Church, Charlestown for prayers at 7pm. Teresa Carolan (née Caldwell), Cloonmacart, Drumlish, Longford

The death occurred on Wednesday, June 11, 2025 of Teresa Carolan (née Caldwell), Cloonmacart, Drumlish, Longford. Predeceased by her parents William and Teresa, sister Margaret (McKenna) and brother Joe. Deeply regretted by her beloved husband Tommy, son Mark, daughters Sinead (Burke) and Deirdre (Skelly), grandchildren Aoibheann, Molly, Sarah, Caoimhe and Tom, sons-in-law Padraig and Michael, brothers, sister Ann (O'Donnell), sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing in St Mary's Church, Drumlish on Saturday, June 14 from 4:30pm concluding with prayers at 6:30pm. Teresa's funeral mass will take place on Sunday, June 15 at 11am. The death occurred peacefully at home on Thursday, June 12, 2025  of Chris (Christy) Powell, Glasson Village, Athlone, Co. Westmeath (Retired Company Sergeant, Military Police, Custume Barracks, Athlone).

Predeceased by his sons James, Richard and Edward (Eddie). Sadly missed by his loving wife Mary, daughters Marie, Ellen, Anne, Patricia and Olivia, sons Christopher and Michael, brother Hugh, in-laws, his adoring grandchildren, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and many friends. The death occurred peacefully in the excellent care of the staff at Regional Hospital Mullingar on Thursday, June 12, 2025 of Philip (Phil) Cappagh, Ballinalack, Co Westmeath/ Longford. 

Predeceased by his parents Bridget and John Joe. Phil will be sadly missed by his loving family sisters Mary, Kathleen, Bridie and Teresa, brother Paddy, brother-in-law Martin, sister-in-law Joanne, nephews, nieces, relatives, friends and great neighbours. Rest in Peace.

Removal from his home on Saturday, June 14 to arrive at St. Mary's Church, Rathowen for Funeral Mass at 11.00am. Burial afterwards in Russagh Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations if desired to Westmeath Palliative Care c/o Gogan Funeral Directors or any family member. House private please.

Robert Dodd, Cornacausk, Streete, Westmeath / Longford

The death occurred peacefully at home in the care of his beloved family on Tuesday, June 10, 2025 of Robert Dodd, Cornacausk, Streete, Westmeath/ Longford. 

Predeceased by his parents Sam and Lilly, brother Francis and granddaughter Lilly. Robert will be sadly missed and always remembered with love by his family, his wife and best friend Mary, daughter Jacqueline, sons Kevin and Simon, Kevin's partner Riina and Simon's wife Suzanne, his adored grandchildren Stephanie and her partner Stephen, Adam, Ava, Ali and David, his great-grandchildren Robyn and Rian, sister-in-law Winnie, nieces, nephews, neighbours and good friends. Reposing in St. Mary's Church, Boherquill, N39 YY07 on Thursday, June 12 from 6pm concluding with prayers at 8pm. Removal from his home on Friday, June 13 to arrive at St Mary's Church, Boherquill for Funeral Mass at 12 noon. Following Mass, Robert will be laid to rest in Streete Cemetery. Michael Patrick Nugent, Hall Green, Birmingham, and formerly, Rooskey, Roscommon

The death occurred peacefully aged 86 years on Thursday, May 29, 2025 of Michael Patrick Nugent of Hall Green, Birmingham, and formerly of Rooskey, Co Roscommon, Ireland.

Predeceased by his sister Mary, brother William, and son-in-law Rob. He will be dearly missed by his wife, Bridie; his daughters, Julie and Denise; his son-in-law, Damian; and his beloved grandchildren, Lily, Isabelle, Iris, and James. Also deeply missed by his brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and all of his extended family.

A Requiem Mass will take place at St Ambrose Barlow Church, Hall Green, on Thursday, June 19 at 12:15pm. This will be followed by burial at Robin Hood Cemetery at 1:45pm. Reception into church will be held on Wednesday, June 18 at 7pm. It will be live streamed HERE.
