The death occurred peacefully in wonderful care of the staff at Regional Hospital Mullingar in the presence of his loving family on Friday, June 6, 2025 of Andrew (Andy) O'Connor, Clonwhelan, Edgeworthstown, Longford. Predeceased by his father Andrew and mother Nora, brothers Sean, Peter and Michael, sisters Dympna and Noreen, son-in-law Philip.

Sadly missed by his loving wife Bernadette, daughters Mary and Nora, son Andrew, grandchildren Shane, Niall, Ethan, Robert, Heather, Katherine and Charlie, sisters Rosie, Margo and Mary, brother Arthur, son-in-law Joe, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, relatives, neighbours and friends. Rest in Peace.

Reposing in Our Lady's Manor Chapel, Edgeworthstown on Tuesday, June 10 from 6pm until 8pm. Funeral Mass on Wednesday, June 11 at 12 noon in St. Mary's Church, Edgeworthstown. Burial afterwards in Aughafin Cemetery. Funeral Mass can be viewed live HERE. 

Helen Dowd (née O'Reilly), Drumcondra, Dublin / Longford

The death occurred peacefully at home on Saturday, May 31, 2025 of Helen Dowd (née O'Reilly),  Drumcondra, Dublin 9 and formerly Longford. 

Predeceased by her beloved husband Kevin, her sister Brigid and brother Kevin. Helen will be very sadly missed by her loving sons, Bernard, Kevin and Philip, Grandchildren, Riley, Aoife, Jordan and Brooke, daughters-in-law Mel and Fiona, sisters Martha and Nancy, sister-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends. May Helen’s gentle soul Rest in Peace.

Reposing at her home on Monday evening, June 9 from 4pm - 7pm. Removal to St Columba’s Church, Iona Road, D09 X578 on Tuesday, June 10 for Requiem Mass at 10.30am, followed by Cremation in Glasnevin Crematorium.

The death occurred peacefully on Friday, June 6, 2025 of James Walsh Killeenmore, Glasson, Athlone, Co Westmeath.

Predeceased by his beloved parents Billy and Mary and his brother John. Sadly missed by his loving family Nicola, Darren and Jemma, brothers Liam and Paul, in-laws, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and many friends. May He Rest In Peace.

Reposing at his brother Paul's residence (Portlick, N37 YV97) on Monday evening, June 9 from 4pm until 7pm. Requiem Mass in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Tubberclaire on Tuesday morning, June 10 at 11am with burial afterwards in the Adjoining Cemetery. Vincent Gill, Curraghmartin, Drumsna, Co Leitrim

It is with great sadness that the Gill family announces the death of Vincent Gill peacefully after a short illness, at Galway University Hospital on Friday, June 6, 2025.

Dearly loved husband of Mary and devoted father of Tony, Peter, Gerry, Junior and Marie. Predeceased by his father Peter, mother Bridget and baby brother Peter. Sadly missed and remembered with love by his wife and family, daughters-in-law Simone, Olive, Caoimhe and Michelle, grandchildren Rona, Lily-Rose, Conor, Evan, Rowan, Grace, Luke, Donnacha and Dáithí, sisters Mary and Bridie, brothers PJ and Kevin, brother-in-law Martin, sisters-in-law Mary and Mary, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and many close friends. The death occurred peacefully after a long illness at his home in the presence of his loving family on Thursday, June 5, 2025 of Kieran McNamara, Balloo, Lismacaffrey, Co Westmeath and formerly Ballygarvey, Rathowen, Co Westmeath. 

Predeceased by his parents Daniel and Mary and his baby son Daniel, brothers Alfred, Donal and his sister Angela. Sadly missed his loving wife Anna-Mai, daughters Catherine, Sarah, Marie and Lynda, grandchildren Darragh, Éadaoin, Rachel, Charlie, Tom and Óisin, sisters Sr. Ann, Patsy and Martha, brothers Pe and Colm, sons-in-law Ciarán and Ian, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, neighbours and friends. Marie Long (née Rowley), Killiney, Dublin / Annaduff, Co Leitrim

The death occurred peacefully in the kind care of all the staff in the Blackrock Hospice, with her sister and daughters by her side on Saturday, June 7, 2025 of Marie Long (née Rowley) Killiney, Co Dublin and late of Annaduff, Co Leitrim.  

Marie, beloved wife of the late John, loving mother of Nóra, Deirdre and the late Michael. Sadly missed by her daughters, son-in-law Bill, adored grandsons Evan and Óran, granddaughter in-law Caoimhe, deeply missed by her brothers PJ and Mel, sister Florence (Moynihan), brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.
