The death occurred peacefully in wonderful care of the staff at Regional Hospital Mullingar in the presence of his loving family on Friday, June 6, 2025 of Andrew (Andy) O'Connor, Clonwhelan, Edgeworthstown, Longford. Predeceased by his father Andrew and mother Nora, brothers Sean, Peter and Michael, sisters Dympna and Noreen, son-in-law Philip.
Sadly missed by his loving wife Bernadette, daughters Mary and Nora, son Andrew, grandchildren Shane, Niall, Ethan, Robert, Heather, Katherine and Charlie, sisters Rosie, Margo and Mary, brother Arthur, son-in-law Joe, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, relatives, neighbours and friends. Rest in Peace.
Reposing in Our Lady's Manor Chapel, Edgeworthstown on Tuesday, June 10 from 6pm until 8pm. Funeral Mass on Wednesday, June 11 at 12 noon in St. Mary's Church, Edgeworthstown. Burial afterwards in Aughafin Cemetery. Funeral Mass can be viewed live HERE.

The death occurred unexpectedly at his home on Thursday, June 5, 2025 of Anthony McGowan, 3 Woodview, Newtownforbes, Co Longford and formerly of Lismore House, Longford.
He is predeceased by his parents Anthony and Mary McGowan, brother Pat, sister Margaret Fox and brother-in-law Peter McGinnity. Anthony will be sadly missed and remembered by his loving family, sister Mary (McGinnity), brothers Liam, Michael and John, sisters-in-law Patricia, Mary, Christine and Deirdre, brother-in-law Vincent Fox, nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, cousins, good friends and neighbours. Reposing at Kelly’s Funeral Home, Athlone Road, Longford, (N39 K381) on Saturday June 7 from 5pm concluding with prayers at 7pm. Funeral Mass on Sunday June 8 at St. Mary’s Church, Newtownforbes, arriving at 12:30pm, followed by cremation service in Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan (Eircode H12 RF78) arriving at 3:15pm

The death occurred peacefully at home on Saturday, May 31, 2025 of Helen Dowd (née O'Reilly), Drumcondra, Dublin 9 and formerly Longford.
Predeceased by her beloved husband Kevin, her sister Brigid and brother Kevin. Helen will be very sadly missed by her loving sons, Bernard, Kevin and Philip, Grandchildren, Riley, Aoife, Jordan and Brooke, daughters-in-law Mel and Fiona, sisters Martha and Nancy, sister-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.
