The death occurred peacefully, at her home in the loving care of her family on Saturday, May 31, 2025 of Aida McDermott, Nappagh, Moydow, Longford, N39 YT97.
Predeceased by her husband Owen (Odi) her sister Josie and brother Jim. Sadly missed by her loving sons Owen, James, John and Philip, her daughter Anne Brady (Killoe) sister Tish, grandchildren Sarah, Ciara, Diarmuid, Maebh and Dervla, nieces and nephews, daughters-in-law Claire and Charlene, son-in-law Aidan, brother-in-law P.J. McDermott and sister-in-law Teresa Quinn, Marie Cullen, Arklow, neighbours, relatives and good friends. Rest in peace.

The death occurred peacefully surrounded by his loving family after a short illness bravely borne under the wonderful care of the medical staff in the Hermitage Clinic, Lucan on Saturday, May 31, 2025 of Christopher (Christy) Maye, Lake Lodge, Cullionmore, Mullingar, Westmeath, N91HK28 and formerly Cloncallow, Ballymahon, Longford.
Christopher is predeceased by his parents John and Mary, his sister Eithne and his brother Liam. Christy will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his family, his wife Ellen, his son Jason, his daughters Jillian (Cleary) and Lee-Anne and son in law David Cleary, his adored grandchildren, Anna and James, Holly and Heidi, his brother Johnny, sisters Kathleen (Hoare), Mary (Freak) (Australia), Carmel (Cashel) and Madeline (O’Scolai) (Canada), sisters in law and brothers in law, the Norris Family (Curragh, Rosemount), his nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbours his many friends, staff members from the Greville Arms Hotel, Danny Byrnes, The Bridge Centre and the farm.

The death occurred suddenly in the wonderful care of the staff of Mullingar Regional Hospital surrounded by his heartbroken family on Friday, May 30, 2025 of Jimmy Harper, Ferskill, Granard, Longford, N39 E195 and formerly of Dundalk.
Predeceased by his parents Freddy and Mary. Jimmy will be sadly missed by his family, his wife and best friend Julie, sons Mark and Jimmy, daughters Ann-Marie, Julie-Chell, Santanna, Selena and Holly, sons-in-law Tommy, Richie, Simie, Willie and Tony, daughters-in-law Bernie and Donna, his beloved 37 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren, brothers PJ and Jerry, sisters Ann and Joan, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

The death occurred in London, England aged 90 on Saturday, April 26, 2025 of John Caulfield, native of County Longford.A great Gaelic footballer he played for Colmcille in the 50’s and 60’s as well as for the County team and played for Erin’s Hope and St Vincent’s in London and had strong connections with the Round Towers.
