The death occurred unexpectedly following a short illness in James’s Hospital, Dublin surrounded by his heartbroken family on Friday, May 23, 2025 of Alan (Hardchaw) O'Hara, 67 Devine Crescent, Edgeworthstown, Co Longford.
Alan will be forever missed and always remembered with love by his family, his beloved parents John and Mary, his loving partner Ariel, sisters Aisling, Alison, Rachel and Rebecca, brothers-in-law Brendan, Paul, Matthew and Peter, his adored nieces Leah, Lucy, Madison, Zoey and Millie, uncles, aunt, gran-uncle, relatives, neighbours and his many dear friends, especially his GAA family. Reposing in St. Mary's Church, Edgeworthstown (N39 E628) on Wednesday, May 28 from 5pm concluding with prayers at 8pm. Removal from his sister and brother-in-law Alison and Brendan’s home (46 Devine Crescent) on Thursday, May 29 to arrive at St Mary’s Church, Edgeworthstown for Funeral Mass at 1pm. The death occurred in London, England aged 90 on Saturday, April 26, 2025 of John Caulfield, native of County Longford.A great Gaelic footballer he played for Colmcille in the 50’s and 60’s as well as for the County team and played for Erin’s Hope and St Vincent’s in London and had strong connections with the Round Towers.
