Anne Heslin (née Bohan), Corrabaun, Longford, N39 C9Y2

The death occurred peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, May 15, 2025 of Anne Heslin (née Bohan) Corrabaun, Longford N39 C9Y2.  

Predeceased by her beloved husband Paddy and by extended members of the Bohan and Heslin families. Anne will be sadly missed and remembered with love by her family, daughters Barbara McGreal and Caitríona, son Ian, daughter-in-law Finola, son-in-law Joseph, sisters Elizabeth McCarthy and Bríd Fetton, grandchildren Aisling, Cathal, Shauna, Rónán, Mark and Paddy, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends. May she rest in peace.

Reposed at Glennon’s Funeral Home, Ballinalee Road (N39 EC81) on Sunday, May 18 from 5pm concluding with prayers at 8pm. Mass of the Resurrection on Monday, May 19 in St Mel’s Cathedral at 11am interment afterwards in Cullyfad cemetery. Charlie Clarke, Oghil, Drumlish, Longford, N39 R822

The death occurred peacefully in his home in the wonderful care of his family on Friday, May 16, 2025 of Charlie Clarke, Oghill, Drumlish, Co Longford N39 R822.

Predeceased by his parents Eugene and Bridget, his sisters Kathleen, Molly and Bridie. Charlie will be forever missed and always remembered with love by his family, his wife Evelyn (née Harold), sons Charles and Thomas and his partner Nandi, brothers Gene and Mattie, sisters Anna Kinlan, and Ellie Fitzpatrick, brothers-in-law Andy and Jack, sisters-in-law Dymphna, Gerladine, Sr. Rosaline, Mary, Martina, Bernadette, Florence, Geraldine, Nuala and Irene, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and dear friends. Those who die in grace go no further from us than God, and God is very near. Rest in Peace Charlie.

Charlie reposed in his home (N39 R822) on Sunday, May 18 from 12 noon until 4pm. Removal arrived to St Mary's Church, Ennybegs (N39 AH01) on Sunday evening, May 18 for prayers at 7pm. Funeral Mass on Monday, May 19 at 12 noon. Following Mass, Charlie will be laid to rest in the family plot in Drumlish Old Cemetery.  Funeral Mass can be viewed live HERE. Eileen Reilly (née Dunning), Congress Terrace, Longford town, Co Longford / Athlone, Westmeath / Athlone, Roscommon

The death occurred peacefully in the tender loving care of the ICU staff in Portiuncula Hospital, Ballinasloe on Thursday, May 15, 2025 of Eileen Reilly (nee Dunning) Congress Terrace, Longford town, Co Longford and formerly of Old Tuam Road, Bealnamulla, Co Roscommon.

Predeceased by her beloved husband Michael, sister Mary, her parents Ellen and Patrick and her grandnephew Coda. Sadly missed by her loving sister Patricia (Mullally), brothers Tony, Tommy and Frank, in-laws, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, relatives, neighbours and many friends. May She Rest In Peace.

Reposing at Flynn's Funeral Home, The Strand, Athlone on Sunday evening, May 18 from 3pm until 5pm. Requiem Mass in S.S. Peter & Paul Church on Monday, May 19 at 11am followed by burial afterwards in Ballymacormack Cemetery, Longford. House private please. The family greatly appreciates your sympathy and support at this very difficult time.

Josephine (Josie) O'Bradaigh (née O'Neill), Gortletteragh, Leitrim

The death occurred peacefully at Laurel Lodge Nursing Home, Longford on Thursday, May 15, 2025 of Josephine (Josie) O'Bradaigh (née O'Neill) Annaghoney, Mohill, Co. Leitrim.

Predeceased by her parents Francis (Francie) and Bridget (Bea), her brother Francie O'Neill Jnr. and her sister; Olivia (Harte). Josie will be sadly missed and remembered by her loving family, her husband Darach, daughter; Sarah, sons Cian, Daniel and Eoin, grandchildren Darragh and Aoife. sisters Teresa, Geraldine (Mulligan), Lorraine (Dorrigan) and Evelyn, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, her large circle of friends and neighbours. Josie reposed at Glennons Funeral Home Ballinalee Road, Longford on Sunday, May 18 from 1:30pm to 3:30pm concluding with prayers at 3.15pm (Eircode N39 EC81). Funeral Mass on Monday, May 19 at 12 noon in St. Mary's Church, Gortletteragh (H41 HY61) followed by burial in Gortletteragh Cemetery. The O’Bradaigh family wish to express their gratitude for the sympathy and support shown to them at this sad and difficult time.

Patricia (Pattie) Keeley (née Noonan), Clooncraff, Hillstreet, Carrick-on-Shannon, Roscommon

The recent death has occurred peacefully in her 97th year, in the tender care of the staff at Shannon Lodge Nursing Home, Rooskey on Sunday, May 18, 2025 of Patricia (Pattie) Keeley (nee Noonan) Clooncraff, Hillstreet, Carrick on Shannon, Roscommon.

Predeceased by her husband William, parents James & Teresa, brothers Sean, Seamus, Michael & Liam and sisters Rita & Teresa. Pattie will be sadly missed by her loving family, son Anthony, daughter Annmarie, son-in-law Ken, grandchildren Andrew, Amy, Lauren & Ivan, sister-in-law Vonie, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends. Rest In Peace.

Reposing at McHugh's Funeral Home, Strokestown (Eircode F42 RK72), on Tuesday, May 20 from 6pm until prayers at 7.30pm, followed by Removal to the Half Parish Church to arrive for 8pm. Funeral Mass on Wednesday, May 21 at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in Clooncraff Cemetery. 

Sean Coyle, Loughcrew Hills, Oldcastle, Meath / Fore, Westmeath

The death occurred peacefully in Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda on Friday, May 16, 2025 of Sean Coyle, Loughcrew Hills, Oldcastle, Co. Meath and formerly of Hilltown, Castlepollard, Co. Westmeath.

Predeceased by his parents Lizzie and Joe and his wife Ita. Sadly missed by his brothers Pat, Gerard and Martin, sisters Maura, Monica and Eilish, nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, relatives and friends.May Sean Rest in Peace.

Sean reposed in Gibneys Funeral Home, Oldcastle (A82 D76), on Sunday evening, May 18 from 5 -7pm. The recent death has occurred at Sligo university hospital on Saturday, May 17, 2025 of George Booth, Hyde Terrace Mohill Co Leitrim.

Predeceased by his Mother Rosetta, brothers Robert, Johnnie, James and sister Mary. George will be sadly missed by his nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends. May George rest in peace.

George Lonney, Drumkeelan, Drumshanbo, Leitrim

The death occurred suddenly at his residence on Sunday May 18, 2025 of George Lonney, Drumkeelan, Drumshanbo, Co Leitrim.George is deeply missed by his heart broken wife Teresa, his sister Kathleen, her husband Eamonn (Enniscrone) and his sister Ethel (Kilkenny). He will be dearly missed by his brothers-in-law and sister-in-law, nieces and nephews, neighbours and a huge circle of friends. Rest In Peace.

George will repose at The Chapel of Rest, Carrick-on-Shannon on Monday evening, May 19 from 4pm to 7pm.George's funeral service will take place in St John’s Church, Church Street, Drumshanbo, at 12 noon on Tuesday, May 20 with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Moya Mullany (née Keville), Carrick Road, Boyle, Roscommon, F52 VH94 / Annaduff, Leitrim

The death s occurred on Friday, May 16, 2025 of Moya Mullany Nee Keville, Federoe, Annaduff, Co Leitrim and late of Bridge Street, Boyle, and Carrick Road, Boyle, Co Roscommon.

Predeceased by her loving husband Paschal, her sons John and Barry, her sister Ann Gordon and brother Jack Keville. She will be deeply missed by her son Charles and daughter Lorna, her brothers Kieran and Leo, her treasured nieces and nephews, relatives, dear friends and neighbours.

Reposing in her home, Carrick Road, Boyle from 4–8pm on Monday, May 19. Removal from her home Tuesday, May 20 at 10:40am to arrive at St Josephs Church, Boyle for funeral mass for 11:00am. Burial afterwards to Assylinn Cemetery Boyle, Funeral Mass can be viewed live HERE

Patrick (Paddy) Nolan, Green Street, Castlepollard, Westmeath

The death occurred peacefully, in the loving care of his family and the staff of the Midland Regional Hospital, Tullamore on Wednesday, May 14, 2025 of Patrick (Paddy) Nolan, Green Street, Castlepollard, Co. Westmeath.

Predeceased by his wife Anne. Deeply regretted by his loving son Alan, daughter Jacqueline, grandson Jamie, daughter-in-law Patricia, granddaughter-in-law Katie, brothers Harry and Christy, sister Marion (Crone), brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives, neighbours and friends. Reposing at Portiuncula Nursing Home, Multyfarnham (N91 RW14), on Sunday, May 18 from 3pm to 6pm, followed by removal to St Michael's Church, Castlepollard, arriving at 7.30pm. Funeral Mass on Monday, May 19 at 12 noon, with burial afterwards in St Feichin's Cemetery, Fore. House private at all times please.

Roy (Robert) Greene, Bredagh, Carrigallen, Leitrim

The recent death occurred suddenly at his residence on Thursday, May 15, 2025 of Roy (Robert) Greene Bredagh, Carrigallen, Co Leitrim. 

Predeceased by his father James, mother Cecily and sister Dolores. Roy will be sadly missed by his heartbroken family, siblings John, Frankie, Cecilia, Brendan (Mary) and Claire (Martin), nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends. Reposing at Smith's Funeral Home, High Street, Ballinamore (N41TD62) on Sunday,  May 18 from 5pm to 7pm. Removal on Monday morning, May 19 to St Mary's Church, Carrigallen for Funeral Mass at 11am followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery. House strictly private.

James (Jimmy) Irwin, Brittas, Glasson, Westmeath

The death occurred peacefully at Beckett Nursing Home in Newport Pagnell UK on Monday, April 28, 2025 of James (Jimmy) Irwin, formerly of Brittas, Glasson Westmeath and residing in the UK.

Jimmy was predeceased by his wife Annette. He will be sadly missed by his sons Ralph and Andrew, daughter-in-law Jane, grandson Ashley, sister Bridie, brother Joe, brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.

The funeral will take place on Thursday, May 29 at 12.30pm, at St Peter and St Paul’s Church, Newport Pagnell, followed by burial for family members only. Family flowers only but donations can be made via www.hwmason.co.uk (funeral directors) to Alzheimer’s UK.

Patricia Peters (née Dooner), Rooskey, Roscommon

The death occurred peacefully  in the presence of her loving family after an unexpected short illness, under the excellent care of the ICU staff at King’s College Hospital London on Friday, April 18, 2025 of Patricia Peters (née Dooner), Sevenoaks, Kent, UK and formerly Rooskey, Roscommon. 

Beloved wife of Alan and dear mother of Michelle and Chris, step-mother to David, sister to Seamus Dooner and cherished nana to Oliver, Daniel and Emily. Pat will also be sadly missed by her daughter-in-law and son-in-law and her dear cousins and many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly. May Pat rest in peace.

Funeral Mass will take place at St Thomas of Canterbury Catholic Church, Sevenoaks, Kent, TN13 1ER, on June 5 at 2pm (live-stream available).
