The death occurred peacefully at Nyack Hospital, New York surrounded by his family on Thursday, May 1, 2025 of Sean V. Harte, (U.S. Veteran) Stony Point, Rockland County, New York and formerly of Cornakelly, Moyne, Co Longford and Killyvehy, Cloone, Co Leitrim.
Predeceased by his parents Patrick and Annie, infant daughter Margaret Ann, daughter-in-law Olivia Harte, nieces Delia Flaherty and Sheila McEvoy, his sister-in-law Dympna Harte and his brothers-in-law. Sean is survived by his wife Margaret, his beloved children John, Josephine and Maireád, his grandchildren Chloe, Colette, Ronan, J.J., Madison, Gavin and Eoin, his brothers P.J., Peter and Colm, his sisters Rita and Breege, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, his former colleagues at Con Edison, neighbours and a wide circle of friends. Sean's remains will repose at Glennons Funeral Home, Balinalee Road, Longford (Eircode N39 EC81) on Friday, May 9 from 7pm concluding with prayers at 8.45pm. Mass of the Resurrection to St Mary's Church, Cloone on Saturday, May 10 at 12 noon followed by burial to the adjoining cemetery. The death occurred peacefully at Beckett Nursing Home in Newport Pagnell UK on Monday, April 28, 2025 of James (Jimmy) Irwin, formerly of Brittas, Glasson Westmeath and residing in the UK.
Jimmy was predeceased by his wife Annette. He will be sadly missed by his sons Ralph and Andrew, daughter-in-law Jane, grandson Ashley, sister Bridie, brother Joe, brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
