The death occurred peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Thursday, April 24, 2025 of Edith Clendenning (nee Stewart), Curry, Athlone Road, Longford.
Predeceased by her beloved husband William. Edith will be sadly missed and remembered with love by her family, sons Mervyn and Stewart, daughter-in-law Iris, grandchildren Trevor, Jason, Jacqueline and Anneka, great-grandchildren Emily, Seán, Lydia, Sam, Ben, Darragh, Killian, Fionn, Róisín and Mia, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Resting at the home of her son Mervyn and daughter-in-law Iris (Rockspring, Ballymacormack – N39 X771) on Saturday, April 26 from 2pm until 6pm. Removal to arrive at St Catherine’s Church, Ballymacormack at 8pm. Funeral Service on Sunday, April 27 at 2pm, interment afterwards in the adjoining churchyard. “With Christ, which is far better”. The death occurred peacefully at Laurel Lodge Nursing Home, Longford surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, April 22, 2025 of Rosemarie (Rose) Conefrey (née Tivnan), Main Street, Edgeworthstown, Co Longford and formerly of Corr na Míolta, Boyle, Co Roscommon.
Predeceased by her daughter Ciara and her parents Patrick and Annie. May Rose Rest in Peace. Rose will be sadly missed and remembered with love by her family, her husband Mel, sons Alan and Ronan, daughters in law; Jennifer and Anne-Marie, grandchildren Josh, Sarah, Erin, Darragh, Aoife and Faye her sisters Margaret Coughlan, Rita Reynolds and Genevieve Barden her brothers Austin, Paddy, Frank, Matthew and Gerard, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.
Rose will repose at the residence of her son Ronan and daughter-in-law Anne-Marie at Ballytoohey, Tarmonbarry, Co. Roscommon (Eircode N39 CK88) on Thursday, April 24 from 3pm – 9pm. Funeral to arrive at St Mary's Church, Edgeworthstown on Friday, April 25 for Mass of the Resurrection at 12 noon followed by burial to Aughafin Cemetery.

The death occurred at Virginia HSE Residential Centre on Wednesday, April 23, 2025 of Marie Sheils, Sallaghan, Lough Gowna, Co Cavan.
Predeceased by her parents James and Bridget, her brothers Philip and John and her sister in law Carmel. Sadly missed by her brothers T.P. and Seamus, sister Nell, brother in law and sister in law, nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.
Marie will repose at Lakelands Funeral Home, Dublin Road, Cavan (H12RF78) on Friday, April 25 from 5pm to 6.30pm with removal afterwards to The Church Of The Holy Family, Lough Gowna (H12FT54) for 7.30pm. Her funeral Mass will take place on Saturday, April 26 at 12noon followed by her burial in the adjoining cemetery. Ar Dheis Dé go raibh an h-anam dílis. The family would like to acknowledge the excellent care and kindness shown to Marie by the staff at Virginia HSE Residential Centre.

Gerard will be sadly missed by his heartbroken parents Joe and Maureen, his brothers Padraig (Cait) and Brian (Maggie), his nieces and nephews Kate, Darragh, Aoife and Ollie, his loving Fiancé Miya. Sr Teresa is now reunited with her parents John and Bridget Moran, her brothers Tommie Joe and Vincent, her sister Sr. Kathleen, her sisters-in-law Mary and Nancy and her niece Myra Flynn. Sr. Teresa will be forever loved and dearly missed by her nephew Joe Moran, her nieces Noreen McNabola (Kilnagross) Josephine McTigue and Teresa Keaney (Drumshanbo) and the entire Marist Community.
