Predeceased by her parents Robert and Kitty, her loving husband Joseph and her brother Charlie. Deeply regretted by her sons Fred, John, Alec and David, daughter Sarah, her grandchildren, brothers David and Sandy, sisters-in-law, cousins, relatives and friends. May her gentle soul Rest in Peace.

Predeceased by his parents Charlie and Annie, Lally will be sadly missed by his loving wife Dympna, daughter Louise, sons Hughie, Charlie and Mark, his sister Rose Halpin, Grandchildren Gavin and Glen, daughters-in-law Elaine and Mary, brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, niece, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends. Colman Murtagh, Longford town, Co Longford / Limerick

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Patrick "Colman" Murtagh on Saturday, March 29, 2025, in London, England, while staying with his daughters. He passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side. He was 76 years old.
Born on March 10, 1949, to Elizabeth and John Murtagh of Dublin Street, Longford, Colman brought joy and warmth to all who knew him. He dedicated many years to his trade at the Murtagh Butcher shop, a multi-generational family business that served the Longford community with distinction. A gentleman in every sense, Colman's warmth and character found a new home in New York City. There, with his beloved wife Breda of nearly 50 years, they spent over four decades building a beautiful life and raising two daughters who became the pride of his life.
In 2020, Colman retired to Curraghchase, Co. Limerick, where he enjoyed his final years.Colman leaves behind his devoted wife Breda Murtagh; his daughters Lisa FitzGerald and husband Brian, Sinéad Freeman and husband Ben; his brother Gerard Murtagh and his treasured grandchildren Tadhg, Maeve, Saoirse, Pearse, Caoimhe, Blaise, and Théa. He is also cherished by his nephews, nieces, in-laws, cousins, and the many friends whose lives he touched. His quiet strength, generous spirit, and unwavering dedication to family created a legacy that will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know him. Pre-deceased by her beloved husband Michael (Tally), by her brothers Pat Joe and Seamus and by her sisters Josie, Maura, Madeline, Esther, and Rosaleen. Eileen will be very sadly missed by her loving children Donal, Regina, Micheál, Raymond, and Ann, her adored grandchildren Evin, Maria, Claire, Fiona, Stewart, Luke, Orla, Niamh, Alva, Rebecca, and Helena; her darling great-grandchild Indi, her loving brother Kieran (Tyrrellspass), loving sister Christine McGurran (Kilkenny), daughters-in-law Caroline, Lucy, and Gaye; granddaughter-in-law Michele and by her extended family, neighbours, and friends. Predeceased by her husband Liam, parents Frank and Margaret, sisters Celia and Johanna, brothers Frankie and Eugene. Peacefully after a long illness at Carechoice Trim. She will be sadly missed by her sons Emmet and David, daughter Joanne, grandchildren Emmet, Alanna, Éanín, Katie, Isabelle, Aoden and Maeve, brothers in law Tommy (Donlon), Tom and Gerard, sister in law Jean (MacGearailt), nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends. The death occurred on Thursday, April 10, 2025 of Michael Kellegher, Inver Gael, Carrick on Shannon, Co Leitrim. Michael was born and raised in Annaghmacooleen, Cloone, Co Leitrim and he then spent a large portion of his adult life working for Eir in Dublin and raising his children.
Michael is predeceased by his late father Michael. Michael will be sadly missed by his children; Molly and Patrick, mother; Esther, siblings; Tom, Brendan, Donal, Joe, Anne, Eamonn, Mel, mother of his children; Anne, brother in law, sisters in law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends and his many work colleagues in Eir. Michael’s remains will repose at Smith’s Funeral Home, High Street Ballinamore, Co Leitrim on Monday evening, April 14 from 5pm – 8pm. A celebration of Michael’s life will take place on Tuesday, April 15 at 3pm in Lakelands Crematorium, Dublin road Cavan followed by cremation afterwards.
