The death occurred peacefully in the loving care of the staff of Laurel Lodge Nursing Home on Friday, February 14, 2025 of Edward (Ned) Flood, St Patrick’s Terrace, Edgeworthstown, Longford. Predeceased by his beloved wife Crissie and by his brothers Paddy and Sonny, sisters Roseanne, Kitty and Maureen. Ned will be sadly missed by his son Peter, grandchildren Grace and Conor, daughter-in-law Sinead, nephews, nieces, relatives, his wonderful carers, especially Kate and his wide circle of friends. The death occurred after a short illness, surrounded by her family at the Galway Clinic, on Friday, February 14, 2025 of Eileen Larkin (née Browne), Oakwood, Ballinderreen, Co Galway and formerly of Killoe, Co Longford.
She was predeceased by her father Tom. Eileen will be sadly missed by her loving husband, Ciarán, daughter Georgia and son, Jake, her mother Tessie, sister Karen, brothers Kevin and Keith. Martin will repose in Our Lady’s Manor Chapel, Edgeworthstown, N39 VR04 on Saturday, February 15 from 3pm concluding with prayers at 5pm. Removal from his home on Sunday, February 16 to arrive to Carrickedmond Church, N39 RT21 for Funeral Mass at 1pm. Following Mass, Martin will be laid to rest in the family plot in the local cemetery. The death occurred peacefully in his 95th year at Shannon Lodge Nursing Home surrounded by his family on Thursday, February 13, 2025 of John Colligan, Dooslatta, Rooskey, Co Roscommon and more recently of Shannon Lodge Nursing Home, Rooskey, Co Roscommon.
John is predeceased by his parents Stephen and Ann, his sister Ann Keogh and brother Stephen Colligan. John will be sadly missed by his sister Eileen Boland (Ballyleague), sister-in-law Ursula Colligan (Scramogue), his nieces and nephews, his grandnieces and grandnephews, cousins, extended family, neighbours and friends (especially Pat Neary). John will be fondly remembered by the wonderful staff and management of Shannon Lodge Nursing Home whose exceptional care allowed him to live out his life in great comfort. May he rest in peace.
