The death occurred peacefully at his home in the care of his loving family on Monday, January 6, 2025 of Michael (Mick) Casey, Derraghanmore, Longford.
It is with deep sadness that Mick's family, his wife Kathleen, his daughters Louise and Áine, his son Coilín, his brother Billy and his brother-in-law Martin, share the news of his death. He will also be missed by his nieces and nephews, relatives, neighbours, and friends. Pre-deceased by his parents, Thomas and Annie (nee Murray), sisters Mai, Frances Whearty and brothers Jim, Pat, and Thomas (Sonny).
Mick will be reposing in the church of the blessed Virgin, Newtowncashel (N39 FX29) on Wednesday, January 8 from 5pm to 7pm. Mass of the Resurrection on Thursday, January 9 at 12 noon, followed by burial in Cashel cemetery. The Funeral Mass will be streamed HERE.

The death occurred peacefully surrounded by her loving family in the exceptional care of the staff at North West Hospice, The Mall, Sligo on Tuesday, January 7, 2025 of Mary Donoghue (née Donlon), Nazareth Village, Sligo and late of Ballinalee, Co Longford.

Pre-deceased by her parents Patrick and Bridget Mulvey and sister-in-law Maureen. The death occurred peacefully, surrounded by her loving family and under the exceptional care of the staff of Midlands Regional Hospital Mullingar on Sunday, January 5, 2025 of Brigid Kellegher (nee Burns) Mullingar and formerly of Rooskynamona, Bornacoola Co Leitrim and Cavan Town.
Brigid was the beloved wife of the late John (Jack) (Cloonart, Longford) and predeceased by her sister Sr. Eileen and brothers Loughlin and Terry. Deeply missed by her children Marie (Walsh, Killarney), Eithne, John, Tina, Colum, and Dominick, sons-in-law Dermott and Gordon, daughters-in-law Marian, Oonagh, and Aoife. Brigid was a cherished grandmother to Elena, Jake, Anna, Lily, Michael, Irene, Isobel and Brian, and a great-grandmother to Braxton. She also leaves behind her sister Annette, sisters-in-law Geraldine and Stella, brother-in-law John as well as a large circle of extended family, neighbours, and friends who will mourn her loss.
