The death occurred peacefully after a long and happy life on Monday, December 30, 2024 of Dympna Donlon (nee Fitzgerald), ‘Struthan’, Ardnacassa Lawns, Longford town.
Pre-deceased by beloved husband Tony (Dynamite) and by her dear daughter Úna McNicholl. Dympna is deeply mourned and will be greatly missed by her children, Terri Jackson (Hong Kong), John (Longford), Geraldine Mulvey (Longford), Dympna Condra (Nobber) and Renie Ward (Athlone), Dympna will be forever remembered by her loving grandchildren Lauren, Robert, Daniel, Sorcha, Aislinn, Cian, Eimear, Dara, Ciara, Conor and Ava, sons-in-law Michael, James, Michael, Colin and Niall, sister-in-law Gretta, brother-in-law Loman, nieces, nephews, neighbours and wonderful friends. May she rest in peace.
Reposing at Glennon’s Funeral Home, Ballinalee Road (N39 EC81) on Wednesday, January 1 from 5pm concluding with prayers at 7pm. The death occurred suddenly at University Hospital Galway on the morning of Sunday, December 29, 2024 of Agnes Fleming (née Kiernan), Hazelwood Grove, Taylors Hill, Galway City, Galway and formerly of Claregalway, Galway, New York and Granard, Longford. Predeceased by her son Jim, her sister Ita Raleigh, brothers Bertie, John and Noel Kiernan, as well as the father of her seven children Martin Fleming.
Agnes will be missed by her heartbroken children Martin, Mark, Elizabeth, Sharon, Raymond and Michelle, her daughters-in-law Sarah, Lynae and Emilie, her sons-in-law Jon-Ander, Dave and Stefan and her grand-children Anna, Luke, Zoe, Luca, Maeve, Marco, Daniel, Max, Saoirse and Aoife as well as her nieces, nephews, wider family and close friends.
