The death occurred peacefully in the loving care of the nurses and staff of Laurel Lodge Nursing Home on Friday, October 20, 2023 of Patrick (Pat) Sexton, Aughakeirnan, Aughnacliffe, Co Longford. Predeceased by his parents Peter and Julia and by his brothers Francie and Mattie. Pat will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his family, wife Kathleen, daughter Julie (McHugh), son P.J., son-in-law Oscar, daughter-in-law Rosey, grandchildren Daryl, Colin, Kenneth, Joseph, Oisín and Keeley, sisters Rose McKeon and May Reilly, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. May he rest in peace.
Reposed at Glennon’s Funeral Home, Ballinalee Road (N39 EC81) on Saturday, October 21 from 5pm concluding with prayers at 7pm. Mass of the Resurrection on Sunday, October 22 in St Joseph’s Church, Purth at 1.30pm. Interment afterwards in Purth cemetery.

The death occurred peacefully at the Midland’s Regional Hospital Mullingar on Thursday, October 19, 2023 of Paddy Reehill, Annaly Park, Longford town. Predeceased by his parents, sister Nonnie and by his brothers Jimmy, Frank and Gerry. Paddy will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his family, his loving wife and best friend Monica (Nee Heavy), son Gerry, daughters Ann (Toher), Tricia, Mary (Lynch) and Martina (McGrath), daughter-in-law Claire, sons-in-law Tom, Mickey and Andrew, his thirteen adored grandchildren Tara, Aoife, Riane, Rhona, Maria, Aisling, Alex, Amber, Jack, Keeley, Tom, Gracie and Andrew, his brothers Tommy and Johnny, his sisters Esther Casey and Mary Thompson, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews and a large circle of friends. The death occurred peacefully after a short illness, courageously fought in The Sharp Memorial Hospital, San Diego on Saturday, October 14, 2023 of Colin Heaney, San Diego, California and Ballinamuck, Co Longford.
Predeceased by his father Tommy Heaney. Colin will be forever remembered and sadly missed by his heartbroken fiancée Jenni and his baby son Cillian, his mother Philomena and stepdad Malachy Scott.
Arrangements are in process to bring Colin home to Ireland.

Reposing at Reilly's Funeral Home Kilcogy Village, Co Cavan N39 W1D6 on Monday evening, October 23 from 5pm until prayers at 7pm. Removal arriving to the Church of the Immaculate Conception Coole at 8pm. Funeral mass on Tuesday, October 24 at 12 noon. Interment afterwards in St Bernard's cemetery, Abbeylara. The death occurred, peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family, on Saturday, October 21, 2023 of Rosemary Reynolds (nee Ellis), Beaghbeg, Carrigallen, Co. Leitrim and formerly of Fenagh. Deeply missed by her loving husband Sean, her daughters Lorraine and Sharon, her son John, her mother Anna, sister Geraldine, brothers Seamus and Pete, sister-in-law Marie, brother-in-law Seamus, son-in-law Edwin, Conor, Amanda, nieces and nephews and extended family and friends. The death occurred peacefully in the loving care of the staff at Innis Ree Lodge, Ballyleague on Wednesday, October 18, 2023 of John (Johnny) O’Brien, Lisnamult, Roscommon Town. Beloved son of the late Patrick and Angela and brother of the late Terry. He will be sadly missed by his brothers Joe, Tom, Paddy, Michael and Noel, sisters Mary, Evelyn and Annette, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, relatives, neighbours and friends. Reposed at Smyths Funeral Home, Roscommon (F42 NH27) on Friday evening, October 20 from 6.30pm until 8pm. Removal from the Funeral Home on Saturday, October 21 at 12.30pm arriving to the Sacred Heart Church, Roscommon for Mass of the Resurrection at 1pm. Burial afterwards in St Coman’s Cemetery.
