The death occurred, peacefully at home with her family, on Sunday, May 14, 2023 of Diane Miller, Castlewilder, Abbeyshrule, Co Longford. Will be forever loved and missed by her devoted husband David, daughter Debbie, son-in-law Enda, her grandchildren Ursula and Lyle, extended family, friends and all who knew her.
Reposing at Kilbixy Church, Baronstown, Ballynacargy, Co Westmeath, on Thursday, May 18, 2023 between 5pm and 7pm. Funeral Service will take place on Friday, May 19 in Kilbixy Church at 11am followed by cremation at Lakelands Crematorium Cavan, (immediate family only). Family flowers only please. Dermot McCormack, Tashinny, Colehill, Longford

The death occurred, peacefully at home, surrounded by his family, on Sunday, May 14, 2023 of Dermot McCormack, Tashinny, Colehill, Longford.
Predeceased by his mother Margaret and brother Justin. Dermot will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his heartbroken wife and best friend Charlotte, his beloved sons James, Ben and Aaron, father Jim, sisters Marie Cassidy, Paula and Mairead Tarrant, brother Seamus, mother-in-law Liz, sister-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, neighbours and a large circle of friends. Reposing at Glennon’s Funeral Home, Ballinalee Road (N39 EC81) on Tuesday, May 16 from 5pm concluding with prayers at 8pm. Mass of the Resurrection on Wednesday, May 17 at 1pm in the Church of the Sacred Heart, Carrickedmond. Interment afterwards in Carrickedmond Cemetery. House strictly private, please.

The death occurred, peacefully in the care of Mullingar Regional Hospital, on Sunday, May 14, 2023 of John Joseph O'Reilly, Old Clonbroney House, Clonbroney, Ballinalee, Longford (retired coach driver). Predeceased by his parents, brother Tom and sister Marie. John will be dearly missed and always remembered, by his loving wife and lifelong friend Mai, sons Peter, John and Damien, daughters Arlene (Hughes), Kathy (Gregg), Patricia and Suzanne (Tully), brother Conal and sister Frances (South Africa), sons-in-law John, Richard and Peter, his adored grandchildren Charlotte, Ian, Laura and Abbey, brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, nephews and nieces, relatives, neighbours and his many dear friends.

Kathleen Farrelly (née Kiernan), Longford / Leitrim

The death occurred, peacefully at Lisdarn Unit of the Elderly, on Sunday, May 14, 2023 of Kathleen Farrelly (nee Kiernan) of Carrigallen and formerly of Sonnagh, Aughnacliffe and Mullabawn, Arva. Predeceased by her parents Owen and Mary, husband Michael and two infant great-grandchildren Lacklan and Leigh.
Deeply regretted by her family, sons Gene, Mel and Michael, daughters Catherine and Paula, daughters in law Breda and Christina, son in law Sean, 15 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren, her loving brother Bernie Joe and wife Helen, nephews Owen and James and extended family.
Reposing at Finnegan's Funeral Home, Cavan from 6pm to 8.30pm on Monday, May 15 with prayers at 8pm. Funeral Mass in St Mary's Church Carrigallen at 2pm on Tuesday, May 16 followed by private cremation. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu if desired to Palliative Care, Cavan General Hospital. The death occurred, suddenly, on Friday, May 12, 2023 of Charles Bushell, Longford, beloved son of the late Charles. The death occurred,  peacefully at Queens Hospital, Romford, Essex, England, on Saturday, May 6, 2023 of Mary Kelly, Upminster, Essex, England and formerly of Liscurry, Moydow, Co Longford. Predeceased by her parents Thomas and Kathleen Yorke and her beloved husband Jim Kelly. Mary will be forever loved and deeply missed by her family son Paul, daughters Carmel and Claire, daughter in law, son in law, grandchildren, great grandson, sisters Kathleen Lenehan (Earl St, Longford), Annie Shaughnessy (Ballinalee), bother Jack Yorke (Moydow), nieces, nephews and her many friends. The death occurred, in the loving care of the nurses and staff of The Manor Nursing Home, Edgeworthstown and late of St Jude’s Aughamore, Rooskey, Co Leitrim, on Thursday, May 11, 2023 of Nessa (Patricia) Hanley (nee Hoare), Rooskey, Co Leitrim. Predeceased by her husband Tony, sisters Florrie, Philomena and brother Gerard, sadly missed by her son Jimmy (Westport), Terri Shanley, Bornacoola, Marie Bolger, Rooskey, daughter in law Anne, son’s in law JJ and Peter, grandchildren Vanessa, John, Avril, Edel, Anthony, Crona, Pierce, Tony, James and Celine and her 10 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.
