Russell Brennan Keane were named as the ‘Accountancy Firm of the Year’ award winner at the recent Chambers Ireland InBusiness Recognition Awards.

The InBusiness Recognition Awards, held in the Conrad Hotel, Dublin celebrate Irish businesses by recognising their outstanding achievement in the Irish business community. Winners of the InBUSINESS Recognition Awards were chosen across 22 categories based on the broad criteria of growth, profile of business, range of services and customer care.

Hosted by Newstalk’s Vincent Wall, each winner had the unique opportunity to address the audience to give some further insights to their business as they received their award.

On accepting the award, David Gleeson, Managing Partner at Russell Brennan Keane said; “As Ireland’s largest independently branded accountancy firm, it’s a great honour to win in this category and it really means a lot to us, particularly to our talented team that works so hard in providing a first-class service.

2016 has been a very positive year for the firm having achieved growth in excess of 15 per cent before taking into account two recent mergers in the last 15 months. We have significantly increased our presence in the Dublin market, recruited highly talented staff and we have just moved into our new bespoke 10,000 square foot offices in Clonskeagh, Dublin 4.

With plans for further expansion, we are actively recruiting staff in Corporate Finance, Taxation, Corporate Compliance and Audit.

Finally, we’d also like to thank our clients – without whom we wouldn’t survive – for their business and providing us with the opportunity of working with innovative and forward thinking business leaders."
