The Irish Creamery Milk Suppliers Association (ICMSA) has expressed its sympathy to the families of the two Longford men, who died after a wall collapsed on them at the Connacht Gold DIY store in Longford town last week.
President, ICMSA John Comer said that he wished to extend both his, and the association’s sympathies to the family and friends of both Paddy Gaffney and Séan Mulleady, who were burried following funeral masses last Friday.
“There was a fatal accident at the Connacht Gold facility and we are all profoundly sad over what has happened,” Mr Comer said. “The circumstances are shocking, and the thoughts of many members would be with the families concerned at this time. It is a terrible tragedy, and we send our sincere sympathies to all the families of those involved.”
