Big crowd expected in Longford for Trek for Theresa charity fundraiser

The family and friends of the late Theresa McDermott Quinn have once again come together to organise this year’s Trek for Theresa fundraiser on Saturday, August 29 in memory of a truly wonderful woman who touched countless lives during her far-too-short time with us.

This year, all proceeds will go to the wonderful charity Oscar’s Kids who do an amazing job supporting children living with a cancer diagnosis.

Trek for Theresa will take place on Saturday, August 29 starting at 12 noon from Keenan Park, Ardagh. People are urged to arrive early to ensure you get parked and are ready to walk at 12.

Walkers will start and finish at Keenan Park, Ardagh. The 5k loop is along the Brí Leigh Route (marked in yellow) turn right when you leave Keenan Park. There is a shorter loop - Ardagh Forest Walk (marked in pink) turn left when you leave Keenan Park. No registration required - just arrive on the day.

Refreshments in the clubhouse after the Trek. There are toilet facilities in Keenan Park.

Through our donations Oscar's Kids support the most courageous children and their families through their journey with childhood cancer.
