Local actor Luke Casserly is gearing up to star in the National Youth Theatre’s 2013 production, Gulliver’s Travels.
The Lanesboro native, who has just completed his Leaving Cert, will begin rehearsals on July 28, preparing for shows in the Peacock Theatre, Dublin and the Everyman Theatre, Cork.
“I’ve always been involved with drama” Luke says, explaining that he joined Backstage Youth Theatre in secondary school. “I really enjoy acting and it’s been a really great experience being with the BYT. It’s definitely one of the highlights of my youth”.
Gulliver’s Travels will be in the Peacock Theatre, Dublin from August 25-31
