The 2013 Strokestown International Festival of Literature takes place from May 3-5 next and the line up of events is extensive.
The event will feature readings, workshops, competitions, awards and indeed lots, lots more and some famous faces in the literary world will also be on hand. Festival highlights include Vona Groarke, Gerald Dawe, Macdara Woods, Tony Walsh, Nerys Williams, Iggy McGovern, Terry McDonagh, Karen McDonnell, Sarah Clancy, Lorna Shaughnessy, Martin Veiga, Eiléan Ní Chuilleanáin, Rita Ann Higgins, Alice Lyons and Michael Schmidt.
