Longford Community Resources CLG (LCRL) launched two books titled ‘Story of Us’
Longford Community Resources CLG (LCRL), in partnership with the EDI Centre Longford, launched two books titled ‘Story of Us’ on Monday, December 15.
The books are the result of a deeply collaborative and participatory process, developed in partnership with the Ukrainian and Roma communities in Longford with support from SICAP Ukrainian Support Workers, Longford Roma and New Communities Community Development Project staff, and the EDI Centre.

The event was attended by members of the Roma and Ukrainian communities who contributed their stories and artwork, alongside representatives from local organisations and agencies Funded by Adult Literacy for Life (ALL).
‘Story of Us’ celebrates cultural identity, promotes literacy, and amplifies community voices, with plans to distribute the books to schools and libraries across Longford town and surrounding areas.
