Kathryn Thomas has commented after her stepson Conor McLoughlin left a big impression on stage on The Voice UK over the weekend.
Making his debut on the hit show, Conor stunned all five of the judges on The Voice UK with his blind audition, singing Ed Sheeran's 'I see Fire'.
The talented singer appeared at the blind auditions and managed to get the attention of each of the celebrity performers with his rendition of Ed Sheeran’s ‘I See Fire’.
One by one judges Tom Jones, will.i.am, Leann Rimes, Tom Fletcher and Danny Jones hit their button to turn their chairs around - with Conor choosing to go with country music superstar Leann.
In a post on social media, RTÉ star Kathryn Thomas said she is "bursting with pride" for her stepson Conor.
"Our hearts our bursting with pride watching Conor on the Voice UK sing his heart out and bowl everyone over with THAT voice," she said in a caption on Instagram under a photo of Conor performing on the show.
"You are so talented it’s off the charts. Keep following your dreams. You’ve the voice but also the heart of an angel and we love you so much".
