Young Longford man Fionn McCormack Crowe has huge honour of captaining Ireland

Drumlish soccer player Fionn McCormack Crowe had the honour of captaining his team and scored his first international goal against Greece

Local footballer Fionn McCormack Crowe has earned his second call-up for Ireland, featuring at the MU15 UEFA Development Tournament in Portugal.

He had the honour of captaining his team and scored his first international goal against Greece, an extremely proud moment for his family and his former clubs, Gaels United and Melview FC.

McCormack Crowe also featured in matches against Portugal and Ukraine, gaining valuable experience against top European opposition.

For Fionn, wearing the national jersey, leading his teammates, and scoring is a proud achievement that reflects his talent, dedication, and a bright future in football.

He continues to work hard and rise in his career, showing all the signs of a player with a very promising journey ahead. A proud moment indeed for his parish of Drumlish.
