DTE design and manufacture Timber Frame, Roof Trusses and Engineered Metal Web Joists and they have the following position available in the Longford office working as part of the Design Team
 
Timber Frame Designer (Trainee Position)
Provide efficient and effective design solutions for Engineered Timber Products
Preparation of schedule and designs for manufacture and construction site packs
 
Desirable skills
The ideal candidate will have minimum 3 years' experience working with AutoCAD working within the construction industry
A relevant third level qualification is required and a Construction Degree is preferable
Communication skills, both in written and verbal
Good numerical skills, precise attention to detail
Customer focused, excellent organisational skills
Confident user of IT and interest in design software
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with fluency of the English language
Attention to detail and proven ability to follow through on work assigned
Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative
Current valid driving licence

Training
Training courses will be provided to upskill for tasks and design software

Competitive salary on offer, depending on experience
