Ballymahon has reopened for business this morning and there is plenty of supplies on hand for all those who have been adversely affected by the weather over the last few days.
The army was on hand today, and members of the force, in conjunction with Longford Co Council, and together with the Ballymahon Tidy Towns committee cleared footpaths, while locals who became cut off by snow drifts and blocked roads were also taken care of this morning.
Yet, more evidence of the wonderful community spirit that exists in Longford!
