PICTURES: Storm Emma won't stop this south Longford pub from opening!

This weather is certainly not a deterrent for these Ballymahon locals who decided a little bit of snow wasn't going to keep them from their pint!

Skelly's Pub in Ballymahon remained open until 5pm yesterday, keeping customers warm, fed and watered until the weather started to worsen.

There was a good crowd in the pub yesterday, according to pub-owner Pat Byrne.

More importantly, he added, the pub will be open again this evening from 6pm, with a roaring fire and plenty of pints so the regulars can warm up and share snow stories.

These beautiful photos were sent in by Ballymahon man, Liam Natton.
