Templemichael College students do Longford proud at important national event
Two students from Templemichael College represented Longford Comhairle na nÓg at Dáil na nÓg 2026 in Leinster House
Well done to Templemichael College, Longford students Sarah Taitt (3rd year) and Alesha Purcall (6th year) who represented Longford Comhairle na nÓg at Dáil na nÓg 2026.
The event took place in Leinster House where over 170 young people from across Ireland came together to talk about issues affecting students.
This year, the main topics discussed were the Irish language and continuous assessment in schools.
It’s a great achievement to be selected to attend, and Sarah and Alesha did Longford and Templemichael College proud by taking part in such an important national event.
