Sympathy

Sympathy is extended to the Lenoard family, Hanwell, London on the recent death of their father Ted, husband of the late Sarah, (nee Moore), Sallaghan. Also sympathy to Ted’s extended family. May he rest in peace.

Benefit dance

Benefit dance for the family of the late Sean Mulligan Ballinamuck on Monday 16th November in the Breffni Arms Hotel, Arva. Doors open at 8.30pm. Tickets available at Loch Gowna post office.

Junior Scor

1st round, Gowna competing on Sunday, 8th November in Killeshandra at 4pm. County final on Saturday, 14th November in Killeshandra at 4pm. We wish our dancers, musicians, singers and actors the best of luck.

Church concert

Arva parish Church concert on Friday next, October 30th at 8pm in the Breffni Arms Hotel. Mullahoran Players are back in town with Mrs Browns Boyz as well as a host of local artists. Adults 10 euro, children 5 euro. Proceeds to Multiple Sclerosis and parish funds.

Congratulations Ashling Brady, (Rose Hill), Loughdavin, Loughduff and Eamon Gaffney, Lossett, Corlesmore on their recent engagement. We wish them all the best for the future.
