Following on from the initial meeting of the new Ballymahon Traders Association tourism group , members have decided to hold their next meeting on Monday, November 21 in Cooney's Hotel at 9pm.
The accommodation required for the hosting of the Leinster Fleadh in 2017 alone means that the group will need people from around a thirty mile radius of Ballymahon who are interested in providing bed &breakfast, rent a room, rent a house etc.
A spokesperson for Ballymahon Traders Association tourism group extended an open invitation to next Monday's meeting.
“Please come along if you have an interest or if you have ever considered getting into accommodation. If you know anyone who may have accommodation to offer anywhere around Longford /Westmeath please let them know.”
