Center Parcs Longford Forest in job push

Fresh from their recent announcement to commence prepatory works on the proposed building of the €233m Longford Forest in Ballymahon, Center Parcs are already starting their planned recruitment drive.

Officials from the UK leisure resort giant have advertised for the position of  general manager in what is the further evidence of their intention to start filling key posts.

In an advert placed on a number of leading recruitment outlets, Center Parcs bosses say they are looking for an “outstanding” candidate to lead their entrance into the Irish tourism sector.

“To transform our vision into a reality, we’re looking for an incredible, unstoppable team of more than 1,000 people – and one remarkable individual to lead the way,” stated the advert.

The post, Center Parcs insist, comes with a six figure package and will involve 12-18 months shadowing general managers at its existing five UK villages.

The closing date for applications is December 9.
