Louis Walsh has said he regrets his behaviour on Celebrity Big Brother particularly his comments regarding Ronan Keating.

Walsh, who called Boyzine star Keating "a pr**k" who he used to manage in the house has now said he "forgot the cameras were on" in a recent interview on This Morning.

Louis said on the show: "I wasn't being malicious, and I do regret saying stuff about people. I forgot the cameras were on me. I was being honest and not malicious. I didn't want to fake anything so I sat back and watched everything. I watched everyone else perform.

"With Ronan and I, it was all a little bit of panto. I kind of regret saying what I did. I loved working with him. He was a great worker, and he's very driven, and very good very talented. He did sack me, so you know, I don't say great things about him but I don't resent him and he's a good person. I have to put that out there. It's all just a bit of panto between us. I should have been a bit more cautious but I'm not, and that's what makes the show. You've got to tell it like it is and be honest. "

Ronan spoke about Walsh's comments on Magic FM syaing: "He was very important to me as a mentor and I'm grateful for the opportunities he gave me, because I wouldn't be here without them. But there’s only so much you can give back and be so grateful, and for that not to be appreciated or respected. Really he should just move on and be happy and grateful for what he's achieved – he's had a great career," said Ronan. "It's no life to be bitter and talking negatively about people it festers in your soul."

The Mayo manager and former X Factor judge came fourth on the new reboot of the show and brought as much drama as viewers expected.
