Ireland take to the Eurovision stage in the qualifying semi-finals on the 15th of May 2025

As the Eurovision Song Contest 2025 gets underway this coming weekend, how can you watch Ireland, as EMMY must qualify through the semi-finals to get through to the grand final.

Ireland's entry to this years campaign is EMMY with their song 'Laika Party'.

EMMY and Ireland will get their campaign underway in the second semi finals on Thursday the 15th of May 2025.

The semi final will get underway in Basil at 8pm on Thursday with the Irish viewers able to watch the show on RTÉ Two and the RTÉ Player.

The grand final of the song contest (that Ireland will hopefully be in) will be live on air Saturday the 17th of May 2025 and will also be available to Irish viewers on the RTÉ services.

The latest odds in the bookies for Ireland to have a successful contest isn't too bad, with latest odds from Ladbrokes giving Ireland 10/11 to qualify for the final.

And if Ireland are to make it to the final the odds on Ireland finishing in the top 10 is set at 14/1, with the Irish managing a sixth place finish this time last year with Bambie Thug at Eurovision 2024.

The bookies favourites to take the title home are Sweden at 10/11, followed by Austria at 11/4, and Netherlands then at 12/1.
