Longford #LE24: Flaherty hails stellar Fianna Fáil performance and says Mimnagh and Cassidy will be battling hard to claim seats

"That is a potential eight seats, a 33% increase on what we had and it is a stellar performance by an incredible team of candidates."

Longford / Westmeath Fianna Fáil TD Joe Flaherty has hailed the stellar performance of the FF team across the three municipal districts in county Longford and he believes that first time candidates Sean Mimnagh (Ballymahon MD) and David Cassidy (Granard NMD) will be battling hard to win seats.

He said the FF performance in Longford MD was very encouraging with the party poised to take four seats through Martin Monaghan, Seamus Butler, Uruemu Adejinmi and Kevin Hussey.
