WATCH | Longford man Brendan Quinn honoured as Irishman of the Year in San Diego

The Granard man immigrated to the USA in 1986 and became a pillar of Irish Society in San Diego

Congratulations to Brendan Quinn formerly of Ballinacross, Granard who was honoured as Irishman of the year in the San Diego St Patrick’s Day Parade. 

Brendan 'Blackie' Quinn immigrated to USA in 1986 and became a pillar of the Irish community in San Diego.

Brendan is son of the late Kitty and Johnny Quinn.

Brendan's son Andrew, a sportscaster at CBS in Spokane, was unable the festivities in San Diego but he was proud to report on his Dad's long overdue honour.
