The Mullinalaghta party rolled in RTÉ tonight, and the Longford and newly crowned Leinster kingpins, certainly didn't disappoint as they continued to win over the hearts of the nation with a memorable Late Late Show appearance.
Team captain Shane Mulligan, club chairperson John Keegan Snr, penalty goal scoring hero Gary Rogers and the team's "X Factor discovered singing star" Jayson Matthews were interviewed by host Ryan Tubridy, while David McGivney, very briefly mind you, recounted a former experience he had at Coppers!
Jayson lashed out a few verses of Mullinalaghta's very own Allez Allez Allez, including the line; 'now we are legends, and we've left a legacy'.

Nobody would begrudge these guys their achievement in WHATEVER IT WAS but is there anybody at home saying to themselves, 'I'm really glad I stayed in tonight, so that I could catch this guy caterwauling as if we were in the Mullinalaghta team dressing room' #LateLate

Mullinalaghta are good at more than football, fine singing and banter there, genuinely delighted for them Such a pity the men’s Leinster champions completely overshadow the senior women’s ALL IRELAND champis though. An equally compelling story to tell by Mourneabbey
