What a night it was for local singer Bríd Shaughnessy as she thrilled the Longford Summer Festival audience ahead of Nathan Carter coming on stage.
Bríd gained much acclaim following her appearance on TG4's Glór Tíre earlier this year and over the course of the summer - yes we've had a summer before this week's torrential downpours - she starred at several local shows, including the County Longford Ploughing Championships, and her performances were a huge hit.
