Longford GAA club Killoe Emmet Óg launched their #JustPlayFootball Healthy Club Campaign recently.
As part of the project they recorded a number of interviews with children.
The children’s interview video highlights that children may have their own struggles going on outside of football. Children should look forward to football and meeting their friends in a non-stressed environment.
Adults looked back fondly on the coaches that were good to them. This only emphasises how officials and parents can have a powerful positive impact on a child’s life and memories.
