The excitement is palpable as the 2025 International Rose of Tralee Festival fast approaches, with just a couple of sleeps to go until the official opening ceremony on Friday.
Iconic Media's Aisling Magner spoke to Longford's Sara-Lee at the tour's Limerick stop ahead of the RTÉ broadcast.
Sara- Lee who was the first of the 2025 roses picked back in January is a 25 year old mental health nurse from Edgeworthstown. She is looking forward to getting the opportunity too represent Longford and sharing the experience with her 31 new rose sisters.
The Rose of Tralee international festival is a celebration of Irish heritage, friendship, and pride that continues to capture hearts around the island of Ireland and the world.
The Rose of Tralee will be available to watch for free, live and on-demand by audiences in Ireland and around the world on RTÉ Player. Features, archive footage, behind-the-scenes content and more will also be available across RTÉ.ie and RTÉ social media platforms over the coming days.
