The streets of Longford Town were lined in green, white and gold on March 17 as crowds gathered to watch the St Patrick’s Day parade.
Schools, clubs, groups and businesses were represented in the parade, with a huge array of colourful and entertaining floats taking part.
There was plenty in the way of entertainment on the day, with music and dance provided by many of the parade’s entries. A daring aerial rescue by the Longford Fire Service and a flashmob by the students of Meán Scoil Mhuire, Longford, rounded off the day’s events.
