Club Orange FAI Cup Round 2

With the confidence factor high in the aftermath of a couple of excellent wins against Cork City and UCD in the league, Longford Town turned their attention to the FAI Cup which resulted in a landslide win over outclassed Baldoyle United.
It was a record breaking result for the midlanders in the demolition job against the Dublin non-league club and the star of the show in the Round 2 clash at Bishopsgate on Saturday evening was lethal striker Stefan Ugbesia who scored four of the goals.
Pharrell Manuel struck twice in the early stages of the game with Alex O’Brien and Cole Omorehiomwan getting the other goals in the biggest ever competitive victory for Longford Town FC.
