The driver of a tractor in Kenagh Co Longford had a lucky escape earlier today, Friday June 21, after the tractor and trailer he/she was operating rolled into the Royal Canal outside of the village.
As can be seen in the picture, first posted on Agriland.ie, the driver of the John Deere tractor was pulling a silage trailer at the time of the incident, while in the process of drawing grass for a local farmer.
Nobody was injured as a result of the incident.
