The Harvest Festival committee and the community of Killashee came together to organise a benefit night in aid of Rachael Stewart, who is currently undergoing treatment for Lyme disease, on Tuesday, March 26 last, in the Chestnut Tree in Killashee.

The event was a huge success, raising €14,327.66 and the Stewart family wish to thank everyone for their support.

“Following the hugely successful benefit night, which was recently held in the Chestnut Tree, the Stewart family would like to say a huge thank you to the incredible committee who worked tirelessly to organise the whole event.

“To all those who so kindly donated the wonderful spot prizes. To the kind friends and neighbours who spent their evenings and weekends out selling tickets.

“To each and every person who came on the night, travelling from near and far. To all those who could not be there on the night but who gave so generously.
