Leitrim Youth Theatre Company, Carrigallen are proud to bring their short version of Lewis Carroll's 'Alice in Wonderland' to The Corn Mill Theatre this month.
Directed and written by LYTC's own Ryan Finnegan, who is ably assisted by Maura Williamson, Aoife Tierney and the cast, this adaptation will follow Alice as she faces troubles and turmoils, and endures real experiences of the term 'madness'.
Through her journey, she comes to terms with this 'madness' and, with the help of the uniqueness and sharing of each character she meets, Alice finds security in telling everyone; “It's okay to be yourself – your own unique, boutique self”.
The short play is family friendly and all are welcome to attend, with family rates available for tickets.
'Alice in Wonderland' takes to the stage on Friday and Saturday, December 9 and 10 at 8:30pm with doors open at 8pm. There is also a matinee showing on Sunday, December 11 at 3pm, with doors open at 2:30pm. Audiences are warned that there will be strobe lighting at one point in the play.
