38 contestants from all over the country have gone to great lengths to fundraise
Six months ago the greendreams4killeenastroturf committee proposed the idea of using D-KUBE as a fundraising initiative for our astroturf project. The entire school community proceeded to implement this event which has been hugely successful.
38 contestants from all over the country have gone to great lengths to fundraise on our behalf via a variety of unique and innovative events. These events have been greatly supported by the local and wider community. Individuals and businesses have got behind us through sponsorship and donations.

We have been overwhelmed by peoples’ generosity, time and effort.
All of this is leading up the main event next Saturday night, October 25, in the Longford Arms Hotel when our 38 contestants will battle it out to win the grand prize of €5,000.
There is an additional half time game where €1,000 is up for grabs also.

Tickets are now on sale and can be bought from any member of the committee, contestant or from the school. Tickets are also available on the night. Tickets are €20, which covers admission and also entry to a draw for a €1,000 Centre Parcs voucher or a cash equivalent.
The event promises to be an exciting evening of entertainment, featuring our contestants competing in spirited challenges, followed by live music to conclude the night….the perfect opportunity to reconnect with old friends.
